Jenna Reynolds
Age 18
5ft tall, 32B tits, dark green eyes.

"Well I'm not going!" Jenna was emphatic. Her mother took a pull on her beer can and scowled.

"Yes you are, it's all arranged." I'm selling the trailer so I've got some money behind me. You can't stay here all alone-"

"I'm eighteen!"

"You can't stay here all alone and your aunt has been good enough to offer you a room at her house."

"I don't even know her! My grades will drop through the floor if I switch schools now!"

"Travelling never did me any harm. And you'll just have to get to know them."

"Them?"

"Yes, your aunt has a partner." Julie Reynolds rifled through her purse and pulled out a crumpled photo depicting a mixed race lesbian couple. Jenna's Aunt Claire was easily recognisable with her red hair but the woman next to her was black. Her frame was curvy but muscular and her impassive gaze seemed to go right through Jenna. The thought of her auntie doing sexual things with that woman, well it was unsettling in the extreme.

"Oh my God. Are you fucking serious?"

"Yes I am. They're good women and you will respect them while you live in their home. A home I might add, that doesn't leak all over the damn place, stink of damp or crawl with roaches. Now get your damn things packed because I am through with arguing."

Julie got to her feet and walked unsteadily out the trailer door to sit in a lawn chair. She had been alcoholic as long as Jenna could remember but they had muddled through somehow over the years. Julie was a singer who did occasional gigs in the area. Money had been tight and with the recession had gotten tighter. Julie had got a bus into the city looking for work. After a long day trudging the streets toting a resume with more holes than swiss cheese, Julie had stopped at a cruise ship company's office. The walls were full of people having a great time and in one of them a woman was singing on stage to entertain them all. After a couple of auditions Julie was offered a job singing in a cruise ship lounge. But it meant sailing around the world for months at a time.

Jenna had never known anything about her father. Julie would never talk about him. She knew her mother had fallen pregnant at just seventeen and that her life had pretty much rolled downhill from their. When she was very drunk, Julie had been known to denounce Jenna's father as a 'very bad man' giving the impression that he had maybe forced himself on her. For her part, Jenna had zero interest in her deadbeat dad, except to regularly curse his ass for abandoning her to Julie's haphazard parental skills. She saw Julie's parents at Christmas and birthdays but they didn't approve of their daughter's lifestyle or alcohol abuse. They were comfortable financially but wouldn't give money to their daughter, knowing she would drink it.

What they made of their other daughter being a lesbian was anybody's guess. Thankfully they also had a son who was living a nice, conventional, successful life. Jenna rarely saw her uncle Richard as he had never been close with his sisters.

So it was that Jenna found herself sat at on a suitcase at the entrance to the trailer park, waiting to be collected by her aunt. It was Friday evening, the plan being that she could get to know Claire and her partner over the weekend and then see her new school on Monday. Julie had been planning to invite them in for a drink but she got embarrassed about the state of the trailer. She was drunk already, sleeping in her lawn chair. Jenna worried about her but Julie was determined to leave on The Trident and there was nothing Jenna could do about that.

She sighed, hugging her knees and staring up the road, looking for headlights.

Tamika Reynolds-Washington
Age: 36 Height: 5'5" Weight: 135
Bust: 36 C

It began a little over a week ago~ the back and forth bickering of a long term couple who were finding out that, for once, their plans did not match. Tamika didn't understand why an 18 year old had to come stay with them and her wife, gods bless her, wasn't making any sense. She just kept saying the same thing, over and over, and gave no hint that she was willing to discuss it any further.

"She is my niece and as long as this is my home, she will be welcome here! I don't care what you think, Mika, that is the long and short of it. She is family, she comes here!"

The problem, as far as Tamika could see, was that their place was HER home, too. Having a teeny bopper under foot was not in the plan. They had agreed, back when they first joined forces, that children were difficult enough in a hetero household, with one basic ethnic background. Raising a child in a mixed lesbian household? That was begging for trouble. They had agreed! Add into the mix the BDSM basis for their relationship and a child, of any age, became an intrusion, an imbalance to the order Tamika needed. Claire knew it. Yet, the infuriating wench continued to press.

So, for the past week, there had been a constant undercurrent of anger, resentment and down right nastiness caused by the IDEA of a teenager being brought into their lives. Claire didn't see or wouldn't acknowledge the idea that she was wrong, utterly wrong. Both as a partner and as the bottom bitch. Obviously, it was surprising, to say the least, when Claire announced on Friday morning that she did not have time to pick the girl up and that Tamika would have to do so.

"What do you mean, I have to go get her? You are the one who wants her here. You fucking go get her."

The words snapped out before Tamika could stop them. Didn't matter. Claire turned on the water works, crying and boo-hooing fit to beat the band. It became so bad, so loud, so ANNOYING, that Tamika had finally agreed, just to shut her the hell up. And to think, people were under the mistaken impression that Tops run the fuck. As if! So after all of that? She had to go. Claire had made Mika so angry that she wanted to beat her bloody. That wasn't good for anyone, especially the stubborn wife. So, she left. Work first, so that she could drop off files that would be needed by sales and stop by HR for a sick day. Next was the salon~ a trim, eyebrows waxed, and a color wash.

By 4, Tamika was groomed, and ready to go get the girl. She wasn't angry anymore, not really, but she figured a few hours drive would chase the rest of the anger away. After all, she loved her partner, really truly. Even if she DID want to kick her down a flight of stairs. 'And anyway, how much trouble can a young woman cause by being here for a few months?'

Tamika had cause enough to regret that thought, sooner rather than later.

xXx

The trailer was dilapidated but the fresh faced young woman, sitting easily on top of her luggage, was anything but. She was small, almost pixie like, with gorgeous masses of deep red hair. Skin like porcelain. Toned. Beautiful. Tamika gave a deep, heartfelt groan and turned the car off. 'Fuck me. Another red head? Breathe, you dumb bitch.'

Moments later, Tamika stood before the younger girl, a barely there smile, curving her lips slightly. "Hello, I am your Aunt Claire's wife. My name is Tamika. Claire could not come today, she had errands and such to tend to before you got there. So, I guess I am playing chauffeur. You ready?"

Jenna was taken aback. It hurt her a little that her aunt had better things to do. She hadn't seen her aunt Claire in years, not since she was in her 20s and married to a guy. There had always been rivalry between Claire and Julie. When Julie hit the bottle, all competitiveness between the two women ceased. Unwilling to involve her family in the breakdown of her marriage and subsequent decision to embrace lesbianism, Claire had distanced herself. Jenna could understand that but for the woman to have married again without telling anyone, well that was quite a big deal.

Tamika was polite but made no attempt to ingratiate herself with Jenna. her rehearsed speech about Claire's non-appearance stated clearly that she was here out of duty to her wife rather than any real desire to get to know Claire's family or give anybody house-room.

Jenna smiled too broadly, taking the hand Tamika held out to her and noting the firm grip. She hauled her case into the trunk without Tamika's assistance and then settled herself in the passenger seat for the long drive to her new life.

She twisted a lock of red hair between her fingers, staring out the passenger window and avoiding looking at Tamika.

"So... Um... How did you guys get together?" She asked, trying to break the ice.

Tamika had started the car after the young woman fastened her seat belt and debated the answer. How did one say that the initial hook up was at a fetish party, during a bondage session? Obviously, there were some things better left unsaid and THAT was one of those things.

"Your aunt and I met about two years after her divorce became final. Oddly enough, we met at a party of a mutual friend and hit it off, almost immediately. It took some work on her part to convince me that she was worth the risk...I don't go for bisexual girls."

A silence, and then Tamika spoke again, her voice soft, husky.

"Claire has been worth it. Every bit of it...."

Mika cleared her throat then and changed the subject.

"So, you are a singer? What types of music do you enjoy? What's your range?"

Dark brown eyes glanced into wide green and almost got lost there. The girl was blindingly beautiful. Tamika gave a little head shake and felt her cheeks flush. 'Dammit all, having a lust crush for my wife's niece is NOT a good thing. Pull it together!!' She forced her eyes back to the road and tried to quit imagining the young woman naked, writhing and bruised. It was MUCH harder than she imagined.

Obviously, the months wouldn't go by fast enough. This was going to be the MOST uncomfortable house guest ever. A thought then~simple, stark. 'I wonder how Claire would feel if things happened between her niece and myself? Hell, how would I feel?' There was a pulse between her thighs then...and a surge of moisture. Tamika flushed and pushed that thought away. 'This is going to be very, VERY bad....'

Eventually, Mika realized that the girl was speaking, answering her questions. She had missed the initial comment. 'Way to go, stud. Ask questions and then don't listen for the answers.'

Jenna flushed and dropped her gaze. Mika had a kind of fierce intensity to her that made Jenna uncomfortable.

"Mom's the singer." She insisted as her pale cheeks reddened. "I like to sing but mom says I'm nothing spe-" Jenna abruptly changed tack, not wanting to lay bare the rather brittle relationship she had with her mother since booze became central to Julie's life. "She wants me to focus on school, says singing will get me nowhere. Mom's going to sing on a cruise liner. She's very good."

She glanced at Mika but the woman appeared to be in her own little world, or maybe she was just very focused on the wide, straight road in front of them. Her carefully waxed black brows knitted in what looked like a barely concealed scowl. Jenna tried to smooth things over. How could she have pissed this woman off already?

She doesn't want me to live there.

Great.

Jenna resisted the overwhelming urge to get petulant and sullen. It wasn't as though she wanted to kiss all her friends and the trailer-park community goodbye so she could move in with a couple of old dykes who were strangers to her! It wasn't her fault that her mother was utterly unemployable unless the job involved singing and would turn a blind eye to drinking.

None of this was her fucking fault. Now she was going to get her ass kicked in at her new school for having two mixed race female guardians and then she was going to flunk out because none of the course material would be the same. This whole thing sucked from end to end.

"I do like my music but I don't have it playing at full blast or anything. I like hard rock and metal more than stuff that I can actually sing. But I have an iPod that I can just plug into my ears, so you won't even know I'm there."

'Fuck! I have made her uncomfortable. I suck!'

Tamika stopped at an intersection and turned left. There was an old hardly used rest stop there and she thought maybe, if they put all their cards on the table before they got back to the house, it would make the rest of the journey less...complicated. At least, that is what she hoped would happen. Claire would never forgive her if she alienated her niece before the girl ever moved in.

Eventually, Tamika pulled into the parking lot and cut the engine. Unhooking her seat belt, she got out of the car and stood, stretched and then leaned into the open window on the driver's side. "Come on, Jenna. Get out. Obviously we need to talk. I am not so good at um, being welcoming, especially when I feel like I have been bamboozled into doing what my wife wants."

Tamika turned from the car and headed for a picnic table that sat abandoned, a few yards away. She climbed up on it, to sit with her butt on the table top and rest her feet on the seat. It seemed to take an eternity for the younger girl to join her and once Tamika heard the passenger door click shut, she turned to watch as the girl made her way over.

"Look. I am not comfortable with the idea of a young, attractive female that I don't know living in my domain, but it is what your Aunt wants and i try my damnedest to keep her happy. I am positive you don't want to come to our house, any more than I want you to come, but Claire wants it. She feels it will help your mom and you."

Dark brown eyes flashed once, black brows knitted in concentration or anger, full lips turned down in a small frown...and then Tamika spoke again.

"So, look, I only have two rules that you had better not break. The first one~don't ask questions. Things may occur that you don't understand but it is none of your business. The second~don't back talk. I know you are legally an adult...but while you are in MY home, you will know your place. I can promise that I will not intrude on your privacy nor will I ask questions concerning your personal business. I will not be rude or high handed. I ask that you give me the same respect. Or there could be issues. Understand?"

"Come on, Jenna. Get out. Obviously we need to talk. I am not so good at um, being welcoming, especially when I feel like I have been bamboozled into doing what my wife wants."

Jenna watched Tamika get out of the car and stretch. There was something innately masculine about the way she moved. Her body was visibly muscled as well, in a way that most feminine heterosexual women wouldn't be comfortable with. Despite Tamika's beautiful and very womanly face, long hair and feminine grooming, Jenna was beginning to understand she was a 'butch' type of lesbian. Until that moment Jenna had associated the word 'butch' with women who had buzz cuts, wore loose men's clothes and so on. Did that mean her aunt Claire was butch too now? That would be really weird.

She pushed her thoughts aside and joined Tamika at the picnic table. Sitting beside her felt too intimate, so Jenna perched on the end of the wooden bench seat. This left her looking up at Tamika, who seemed determined to gaze into the distance and avoid eye contact.

"Look. I am not comfortable with the idea of a young, attractive female that I don't know living in my domain, but it is what your Aunt wants and i try my damnedest to keep her happy. I am positive you don't want to come to our house, any more than I want you to come, but Claire wants it. She feels it will help your mom and you."

Young attractive female?

My domain?

Mika's choice of words left Jenna speculating wildly about what she really meant. That she had sat there and called her own step-niece attractive was freaking Jenna out a little. She knew she had the same colouring and facial features as her mom and aunt, so it stood to reason that Mika would think she was pretty. Something about the way she said the word 'attractive' kinda loaded it with something though. Or perhaps she just imagined it. Jenna didn't really understand and truth be told, she didn't want to. This whole situation was weird enough.

But her domain? That suggested that Tamika wore the pants in the relationship and Jenna wasn't sure how she felt about that. Having her aunt as an authority figure was one thing but submitting to a total stranger like Tamika's discipline would chafe.

The woman's dark eyes flashed, as though daring Jenna to challenge her. For a long moment their eyes locked, Mika's framed by brows drawn tight in a hard frown. Naturally it was Jenna who blinked first, dropping her gaze and flushing slightly in embarrassment. Was Tamika on steroids or something?

"So, look, I only have two rules that you had better not break. The first one~don't ask questions. Things may occur that you don't understand but it is none of your business."

Jenna's eyes widened. It wasn't as though she was a small child with no clue what lesbians really were or anything. She wanted to know why such a warning and such secrecy was needed. Was Tamika too domineering to Claire, even abusive? She could be some kind of violent control freak for all Jenna knew.

"The second~don't back talk. I know you are legally an adult...but while you are in MY home, you will know your place. I can promise that I will not intrude on your privacy nor will I ask questions concerning your personal business. I will not be rude or high handed. I ask that you give me the same respect. Or there could be issues. Understand?"

MY home, well that was pretty unambiguous. Not 'your aunt and I's home or even 'our' home but 'mine.' Mika's promise not to intrude on Jenna's privacy was all well and good but it appeared she was supposed to accept that Mika called all the shots without questioning it and Jenna strongly disliked that. She could see that Mika was trying to hold out something resembling an olive branch but her manner just kept putting Jenna on the defensive.

But now was not the time. They just met and they had a long drive ahead.

Jenna simply nodded and said 'ok.' What else could she do? She sat there meekly and waited for Mika to announce that they should get back in the car.

'Well, THAT didn't work.'

It was about then that Tamika began to get angry. Claire had put her in an unconscionable position and expected her to maintain some sort of dignity. And this young girl acted as if she were suffering a fate worse than death. The facts were quite simple~the house had been Mika's before Claire and she married, most of the things in the house belonged to HER, not Claire, and this young woman was about to intrude in Tamika's home, where she was not wanted. At least, not by Tamika.

Those things added up to a big fucking headache. A headache that Tamika did not want and hadn't expected. Claire would have a LOT of kissing up to do before Tamika's feathers were soothed. And before it was all over? The little girl sitting so demurely on the picnic seat would have to pitch in and soothe, too. After all, Tamika deserved something out of this and she was damned well going to get it.

"Come on, Jenna. Let me take you home." The voice was mellow, the words husky. They gave no clue to the emotions roiling around in the woman who spoke them. Tamika was good at keeping those things hidden.

xXx

The rest of the ride had been accomplished in pensive silence. Tamika had made it a point to say nothing else and had switched on the radio to her favorite alternative station as soon as they had left the little rutted back road and returned to the main drag. The music had helped her to focus and it seemed that the girl and she at least shared a taste for the same sorts of music.

What that meant was, when they pulled up in front of the large colonial style house a little over an hour later, both women seemed to be relaxed and relatively at ease. Tamika wasn't, not by a long shot, but since she had come up with a plan of attack, she was better than she had been. Seeing her wife brought a genuine smile to her face. Claire had rushed outside as soon as she heard the car in the driveway, her gorgeous red hair piled up in a messy top knot, her body covered by paint splattered jeans and an old tee shirt.

"Oh my goodness, Jenna!! You have gotten so old!! When did that happen? How was your trip? Are you hungry?"

Claire had rushed up to her niece and started talking, completely ignoring Tamika. That was the straw that broke the camel's back. Tamika's smile disappeared, her eyes darkened furiously. One slender hand darted out and grabbed Claire's wrist, hard enough to cause the woman to wince.

"You sent me driving all over the place for YOUR niece. Do I not deserve at least a hello before you begin chattering like some imbecilic monkey?"

Claire's eyes widened and the flow of words dried up. Her pretty head dipped, her eyes glanced toward the ground.

"I was excited. I am sorry, T."

Tamika nodded once and let go of the pale wrist she had grabbed. Already bruises were forming there. Tamika gave an inward smile and turned away.

"Fine. Her luggage is in the trunk. Get it out and bring her and the luggage inside. I hope you started dinner. I am starving."

That was Tamika's final word on the subject. She didn't wait to be answered. Instead, she headed up the path, one she had built years ago, toward the house. This was her home. The sooner everyone understood that, the happier SHE would be. After all, truth be told, anyone else here was here on her sufferance. She just needed to remind them of it.

xXx

"Don't ask, Jenna. Just don't. You wouldn't understand...and I can't tell you. So then, how is your mom doing? You ready to get back to school?"

Jenna's jaw dropped as Tamika grabbed her aunt's wrist, making Claire twist away from her to face her wife. Her posture made it obvious that Mika was causing her pain. The taller black woman stared her down and instead of yelling at Mika to take her hands off of her, Claire backed straight down and apologised, her eyes on the ground. Bright burning rage lit within Jenna as Mika sardonically referred to her wife as imbecilic, before making a curt demand for dinner and walking away. Jenna was drawing breath for a serious diatribe when her aunt turned back to her, suddenly aware of what Jenna had seen. Well there had been no attempt to hide it from her, or even from any of the neighbours. They were still in the damn street.

"Don't ask, Jenna. Just don't. You wouldn't understand...and I can't tell you. So then, how is your mom doing? You ready to get back to school?"

So this was what Mika had been alluding to when she told Jenna she couldn't ask questions?

Well fuck that.

Jenna kept her voice light and cheerful, aching at the sight of Claire's brittle smile.

"Mom's fine, she's leaving with the cruise ship today to work as a singer. School I'm really not looking forward to because I won't know anyone and all the course material is going to be different." Jenna dropped her voice low, moving close to her aunt, who was holding her sore wrist, rubbing it absently. "I'm sorry but what the hell was that Claire? She just hurt you."

"Don't." Claire replied quietly. "I am really just fine." Claire raised the volume of her voice, moving away to make it impossible for Jenna to whisper to her. "I made spaghetti bolognase for dinner, I hope it's still your favourite."

Yeah, when I was about five.

"That's great Claire, thank you so much."

Jenna was shown to her new room. Mika used their spare bedroom for her weight training and as an office. Jenna was therefore put in the basement. The large room had been made into some personal space for Jenna. As well as bedroom stuff there was a couch and TV, a desk and bookcase, even a sink, a kettle and a microwave. Jenna was relieved not to be right next door to their bedroom but it was also another clear statement that Mika was not prepared to sacrifice any of her personal space. Jenna was clearly expected to stay out of the way down here, rather than spend time with her aunt in the rest of the house. Still, there was plenty of windows at ceiling height and it was a gigantic room compared to the tiny bunk she had had in mom's trailer.

"You can freshen up here and then come up for dinner. The food will be ready in about ten minutes, I'll call you." Claire's voice dropped once more, as it was obvious that Jenna wasn't happy. "Tamika and I... well our relationship is a bit... unique. We both love each other very much. We just have different ways of... expressing that. Ok?"

This was exactly the kind of shit her mother had been known to spout when she was dating a violent loser. Jenna's heart sank. She said 'ok' because what else could she do? Privately however, none of her concerns were assuaged.

I'm not having this. Jenna vowed to herself. I made mom see reason and ditch the bad apples, I can do the same for Claire.

Tamika had gone into the house and headed for the master bedroom, never once breaking stride. Her eyes held a kind of sadistic gleam that she knew she wouldn't be able to hide without a bit of quiet time. After all, what she planned for the young woman and her Aunt was something that would require the firmest of hands, the lightest of guides. She couldn't make a mistake and showing that side of herself in a controlled way wasn't in the cards.

She came back downstairs once Claire announced that dinner was served, her face wearing a pleasant expression, once more. It had taken a quick, furious orgasm in the silence of her bathroom to settle her, but that knowledge couldn't be picked up on by either of the other women. Tamika was too good at hiding behind a well crafted facade. And anyway, she needed to soothe Claire's ruffled feathers and start working on confusing the issue with...Jenna. Her mind automatically added 'the young cunt' to the girl's name.

Tamika entered the kitchen and wrapped her arms around Claire from behind, whispering her apology into her wife's dainty ear. She listened though, even as she was whispering, for the sounds of Jenna coming upstairs and when she heard the tale tell creak of a board just outside the kitchen, she turned Claire around and planted a slow, loving kiss on her. Then she released her wife, stepped away and grabbed the glasses to finish setting the table.

Mission accomplished.

xXx

Dinner was surprisingly cordial, with Tamika playing her part for all she was worth. That part consisted of loving glances to her wife, shared smiles, husky laughter and jokes that strove to include the younger female. In other words, Tamika played her good self, to a "T". After all, she loved her wife and it was very easy to be good to her.

When dinner was done, Tamika helped clear the table and fill the dishwasher. She allowed Claire to set the temp and fill the soap dispenser. After all, that was routine. And she couldn't be too helpful or that would tip Claire off. Tamika didn't want that, not now, not ever. So, when everything was under control, Tamika excused herself to the other two and went back to her study. That was very ordinary and left the older and younger woman alone, to play catch up.

The moment Tamika had left the kitchen, Claire turned to her niece.

"So, what are your plans after graduation?"

After kicking off her shoes, having a quick wash and some basic primping, Jenna made her way upstairs. Her aunt hadn't called her but she figured that Claire could probably use help with something. She walked quietly, not stealthily but unsure of the layout of the house and instinctively wanting to be unobtrusive. She appeared in the doorway to the kitchen to see Tamika kissing Claire. Jenna froze. She didn't want to be her witnessing this private moment but trying to retreat might draw attention to her presence. The kiss was lazy and intimate, one that Claire responded to passionately with a barely audible sigh of capitulation. Seeing Claire locked in a blissful embrace with the taciturn black woman put a new spin on things. She did look happy. Maybe Jenna was being a little too quick to judge, especially as she was currently the main source of tension between the two women.

Thankfully, Mika never looked in Jenna's direction. She moved away and started setting out wine glasses. Jenna managed to lean back behind the doorframe and then move forwards, as though she was just walking in. Claire was too flustered to realise that she had been there all the time.

The meal was welcome and much more pleasant than Jenna had anticipated. Mika turned out to be good company, after a couple glasses of wine. When Mika relaxed it seemed to soothe something in Claire. Jenna's aunt became more bubbly and animated, focusing less on her wife. After the meal, Tamika excused herself and went upstairs. Jenna had now mentally cast Mika as the man of the house, so it didn't seem odd to her. She was pleased and touched that Mika understood that she needed some alone time with her aunt.

"So, what are your plans after graduation?" Claire's encouraging expression just made Jenna's face fall. She reddened and dropped her gaze to the floor.

"First I gotta graduate." She sighed. "I wasn't doing too great at my last school and now I'm going to a new one for my last year... well everything's going to be really tough. None of the syllabus will be the same." There was a pregnant pause that Claire didn't fill with chatter. "Basically, I will be lucky if I graduate."

Jenna couldn't look at her aunt. She knew she was intelligent but the unsettle upbringing she'd had hadn't brought out the best in her. Now Jenna felt like she'd squandered her intellect by failing to handle her mother's lifestyle more effectively. It was shaming.

Jenna said nothing about how often she had to nurse her mother into the small hours through drunken rages, depressions and so on, how many suicide attempt she'd thwarted, how many worthless men she had to endure in their little trailer... how many of those men had tried to get in her panties as soon as her mother's back was turned. How many times she'd called the police because some guy had turned violent.

"I'm gonna try though Aunt Claire. I'm gonna try real hard."

Claire listened as Jenna talked worriedly about her prospects at the new school she would be attending. The woman wanted to ease the girl somehow, take some of the stress off of her but she was unsure how to do so. After all, her own high school career had been less than sterling and she knew that the subjects schools taught now were even more difficult than the one's she had taken so many years ago.

Not only that, but Claire KNEW the reason Jenna had had such a hard time buckling down and focusing. Living with a mother who was more apt to need care than you did kind of put a damper on the ability to think in a school environment. Claire cursed Her sister roundly, silently. Poor Jenna. So fucked up because of that stupid woman and her inability to put down the bottle.

"Don't you worry, Jenna. Between Tamika and myself, I am sure we can help you get yourself on track and graduate on time."

Claire gave a light laugh, her eyes sparkling. "Actually Mika will probably be more of a help than I will. She's freaking brilliant."

The conversation drifted after that and Claire allowed it. Her niece did NOT have to worry, not now. Claire and Tamika would take care of her.

~~~~~~~
Tamika had settled behind her desk and got to work, looking up pertinent information concerning Jenna's previous schooling. The girl had a pretty spotty record. She had missed school at least once every couple of weeks and her grades were just above passing. The courses she chose spoke of a love of learning that her record didn't support. Obviously, she had the brains to do the work but her mother's needs seemed to overwhelm the teen from time to time and it showed.
An hour or more passed in silence as Tamika searched further afield for information on the girl and her mother. There seemed to be a history of police calls, an unusual amount of domestic disputes. Tamika nodded thoughtfully at that. That did fit what she had seen, what she had noticed. A BDSM based relationship would make no sense to the girl and very likely would appear abusive as hell.
Tamika smiled to herself. The beginnings of a plan on how to approach the girl began to form. First, she needed to get just a bit of trust.....
