Amanda had a distinguishable smile of self contentment as she walked through the hallway, leading up to her first class of the today. It was her second year at the institution and figured that it wasn't a bad place at all; some people would be willing to give an arm and a leg to get here. That said, she was fortunate enough to obtain a scholarship paying for her tuition fees; a gift that most individuals weren't as lucky to obtain. Her small backpack to her side, she was dressed in tight blue jeans, a belt hugged to her perfect waist, a tight black tank top that emphasized on her large breasts, just as her long hair practically bounced at every step. She had the brains and the body; she was, for most people, the perfect package. And she knew it.

The sophomore was currently in a relationship with the quarterback of the football team; something that most high school girls dreamed of really. Steven was a large fellow who got in the school due to his athletic abilities and somehow would manage to pass his classes by the skin of his teeth. He was incredibly handsome, though kept pressuring young Amanda for something she simply did not give away to just any guy. That was sex.

Regardless, she was walking with him as they made it to English Literature. She wasn't majoring in it, though enjoyed it thoroughly. Classic books were her fascination and couldn't wait to get started with this course. Oh, if only she had the slightest idea...

Amanda was well into the bickering going around the classroom, even a few seconds after the professor came in. Students were talking about all sorts of things; social life, academics, athletics. The young woman firmly believed that the best conversations were the ones involving potential class material, and not the upcoming football game that Steven was going on about right next to her. Her eyes scanned the room and saw that an older man was occupying the desk in front of everyone. She supposed that this was the teacher and quieted down, just as more and more people were doing the same thing. Class had begun.

The teacher's eyes scanned the room like a hawk, going over student after student individually. Amanda listened in carefully; a pen and paper in hand already, as if she was more than eager to take notes down. One thing that the young student had already noticed, was her teacher's deep masculine voice that echoed through the room. It commanded respect, she found, and there probably wouldn't be a single soul in the room willing to go against it. It was an awfully attractive trait; something that had definitely caught her attention. A few disappointed moans came from the back of the class as he mentioned Shakespeare, but were quickly silenced by a glare. Personally, the authors mentioned made the class seem all that more interesting already. Hard work was to be expected at this level and Amanda was more than ready for it.

Her heart nearly stopped as the professor looked her way, his eyes nearly scanning her. If Amanda had not known better already, she would have assumed that she did something to anger the teacher. However that anxiety slipped away as her own eyes went over the authority figure in the room; he was built, that was for sure. That rugged, masculine face matched perfectly with the voice she examined earlier and felt something already growing deep within her mind...A crush? She shook it off as he continued speaking over the outline of the course.

And so, class had finally begun with none other than William Shakespeare. He started by using the all so famous quote "To be, or not to be" and Amanda's ears followed every single word coming out from his mouth attentively. The teacher had touched very briefly the background of William Shakespeare but that was no issue by her book; this was an English course, not history. However, Steven was chatting right next to her as the teacher spoke - then became quiet. The commanding figure took a few steps around and then looked her way.

"You, change seats. I will have no one interrupting my course here."

To her surprise, he wasn't pointing that Steven, but to her. She was about to argue that it wasn't her that was talking; but then quickly came to the conclusion that it would have been a rather childish move. And so, she merely nodded, grabbed her books and bag, and walked down row by row to find an empty seat. She surely knew that eyes were following her, most likely examining every inch of her gorgeous figure and admiring how her hips swayed just a bit with every step, or how her breasts bounced. Finally, she came to the very first row; the only one with a few empty seats.

Then class continued once again;

"As I was saying..."
the teacher stated.

As Amanda sat, she couldn't help but feel a little embarrassed; being assigned to another seat because of chatter made it seem as if she was immature and found her way back to high school. She knew, however, that it wasn't her fault - the fact that everyone else in this room thought that perhaps she was a bad apple made her frown. Especially the thought that the teacher believed that she wasn't a serious student bothered her young mind to no end. Still, she shook off that anxiety and continued paying attention. Matthew continued to explain the assignment and that feeling of dread rapidly turned to excitement. "Now this was a college class!" she thought to herself as she contemplated which of Shakespeare's many beloved plays would be the best choice. She wasn't much of a self-centered, egotistic individual...but the fact that so many students were groaning over the fact that they couldn't write on a movie adaptation filled her with the confidence that she would do so much better than the class average.

She continued taking down notes, as it was a ritual for her to write down every single bit of information. However, she did stop as she perceived the sound of footsteps and everyone leaving. "I want you to stay behind afterwards.....for interrupting," the teacher stated, to which Amanda promptly nodded. Glancing back, she caught the sight of her boyfriend standing and signaling her to get out of the room. She shook her head, as that wasn't a possibility. To get out of the classroom now, despite Matthew's words, would have been academic suicide.

Steven barely tried to stay in the classroom; one single stare from our teacher and he went straight out the door. Amanda couldn't blame him; Matthew was indeed a strong authority figure. "I'm Amanda sir. Amanda Myles." she replied back to him, pencil still in her right hand. "I apologize for interrupting your class; it won't happen again."

She was a bit surprised as the teacher was curious enough to ask her what play she was going to write about.

"Oh I'm still not one hundred per cent sure yet but... I was thinking about writing about Macbeth. It's my favorite tragedy and it sure beats writing on Romeo and Juliette. It's been done to death - but I'm sure you know that already." She said, her tone definitely portraying her enthusiasm.
