I thought of an idea for a story where the dog steals the bikini while the girl is sleeping and she wakes up and sees the foot prints then she has to go search for the dog naked to retrieve her bikini. She has to walk along the beach and maybe on the boardwalk and all sorts of people see her.

A story about guy in a thong needs an angle for sure. A guy who looks good in a thong looks even better when he's working out. A story where he is at the beach or maybe operating a boat and has to rescue people, or gets thrown into a crowd where he's underdressed but so good to look at everybody is OK with it. Maybe he drags the drowning person ashore and gets interviewed live on TV. Or maybe he has to give the girl (or man) mouth to mouth and then carry them back to their party or hotel.

Hedy Lamarr did a pornography video in the 1920's where this same thing occurred, but she had set her clothes on her horses saddle, and the horse ran off to be with a Filly. I went looking for the old 1970s Coppertone ad where the dog pulls the bottom down. I forgot the subject is a little kid so it can't be posted here. How did they get away with that on broadcast TV and highway billboards? Have we really fallen so far since then?

Set it in Utah. These guys could be missionaries who've returned from spreading the gospel, but soaked up more of the local culture than they should have. First time swimming in Salt Lake City and they turn out in gear that wouldn't cause a ripple on the Riviera....

I'm 350 words into my prospective "Summer Lovin" story and am suck already... the idea is an 'anti-beach' story where the hot blonde bf/wife wants to show off her revealing bikini on the beach, but hubby/bf, who is the narrator, doesn't want to go. He does however, want to get laid.

I've done the intro but now what?

do they go to the beach? If so, how do I get to the sex?

does she go without him, come back and tell him about her revenge sex on the beach? Followed by make up sex? Or just leave out the infidelity?

do they stay home ? If so, how do I get to the makeup sex?

you'd think after 150+ stories I would know the answers, but NOOO....

or do I just abandon the whole thing?

I need to understand the basic concept of the story to be able to give advice. I don't understand it from what you've written, and I suspect that's the problem. What kind of story do you want to write? What's the basic, erotic focus?

Why doesn't hubby want to go? He wants to have sex with her, but he doesn't want to go to the beach? Why? Does he not want to see her in a bikini? Why? I don't understand what the concept is. If they're married, then why can't he get laid without going to the beach?


I don't ever start writing a story until I have a clear concept of what the basic story idea is, and I sense that you haven't settled on that yet. No one can tell you what the story concept should be. It's up to you.

The kernel of your story seems to be conflict between the male narrator and his wife/girlfriend over her desire to be a bikini exhibitionist. That conflict certainly could drive a good story and be the basis for a hot, erotic story. But figure out, basically, what kind of story you want it to be. Sounds like either it's an exhibitionist story, or a hot wife/cuckold story. I assume the husband/narrator goes through a change of heart. Maybe at first he's jealous and doesn't want his wife in public showing off but over the course of the story he comes to enjoy it and even begins to encourage her.

I wrote a story similar to this but differently, so maybe you can rework it to make yours work better...

In mine, a husband had an anniversary weekend planned for his wife, but at a hotel, and sent her a text just before she arrived that she could only show up to the hotel where he was waiting, wearing one article of clothing.

Having a foot fetish, he knew she would show up barefoot this way, in a minidress, with nothing underneath. But she upped the ante, and in the stairwell, wore only a pair of high heels, and knocked on the hotel room door...naked!

He was shocked, but then she grabbed the ice bucket and walked down to the ice machine in the hall to further go public nude for her husband. As she did, an older couple stepped off the elevator! At this she expected to get arrested, but instead the older couple took pictures of the old husband with the nude wife, with the older married couple thinking it was all in great fun. The wife then had her husband rush down the hallway with a towel to cover his wife up, incensed that his wife would go in public naked, and that she had outsmarted him by abiding by his rules (one article of clothing) Since it was in a way that he did not anticipate, he did not like her boldness.

In my story, it was to show how the husband was controlling and really a prude, when an older couple and his wife, who the reader first thinks are the prudes, turn out to be progressive.

My story did not have any sex scene in it, but maybe you can use the concept somehow.

My story does sound like it sucks, but I used a lot of "crystal balls" to promote my idea. A crystal ball is when you give the reader the idea that they know what will happen, but then the opposite occurs. In this story I go into detail how the young wife knows the old couple will call the police, she will be arrested, and her anniversary weekend will be ruined by her sitting in jail, but instead the older couple pose to have pictures with the nude wife...that is the crystal ball technique, and you can use it in erotic stories.

Thanks. A lot there to chew on, and my itch to write needs scratching. So I better start swallowing.

My basic concept may be too basic- a summer sun story that does NOT end up on the beach.

Narrator appreciates her exhibitionism, because he knows it makes her horny- I established that in the stub I wrote yesterday. He just doesn't want to go to the beach. But wants to get laid. My job is to see to it he gets laid. But like him, I'm not sure he can do that without going to the beach.

Maybe she goes without him, and he is left imagining her sexcapades? In which case, the twist could be that she didn't cheat at all, but is extra horny because so many guys (and a few gals) hit on her. So not revenge sex, nor make up sex, just fantasy fuelled sex?


but that might take too long to write and make the contest....

A thousand words in, which is maybe a third of what passes for the "plot" and bored with my own story... mostly I think because I don't like my protagonist.

Have to work on the basic relationship dynamic, and then play it out from there, weaving in the beach thing.

They're in a relationship, not too old, still getting to know one another. She's super hot, and she loves to show off, and that makes him nervous and a bit jealous, so he doesn't want to go to the beach because men will see her in bikinis.

He gets his way, and they go to Vegas instead. He promises to make it up to her.

So they get there and there's a big pool, and she's wearing bikinis anyway, and slutty dresses in the casino. She reminds him that he promised to make it up to her so he goes along . . .

. . . and starts to enjoy it. Pretty soon he's into it and HE'S the one pushing her to expose herself in her bikini, and out. She wonders what's gotten into him and he says "well, I'm making it up to you."
