There was a vibe company that was paying pornstars to do testimonial videos about ten years ago.

So manybe this company, wants to do a more 'average consumer' ad campaign and offers free stuff, on the agreement of a testimonial video. No video? You get charged. If it's a great video, there may be money to be made.
