“It would be a lot easier to stop whistling if my lips had something to blow.”“It would be a lot easier to stop whistling if my lips had something to blow.”
I like it. Maybe neighbor was even whistling cause they were checking MC out
evil, just evil. The neighbor is a guy who has had his wife hypnotized. Whenever he whistles, she drops to her knees and blows him. He looks at the MC and asks him, "Wanna give it a try?"

I'm almost ashamed to laugh at this... almost.Susan had just had it with that fucking whistling. It wasn't melodic like a bird, or piercing like a ground squirrel. But rather, something breathy and tuneless that still somehow got stuck in her head for hours after she left the house.
She wasn't sure when her neighbor had started doing it, but she'd been meaning to speak with him for a while. She just hadn't seen him.
When the whistling began while she was reading on the porch she'd decided she'd had enough and in a huff, walked around to the front gate.
To her surprise, it was ajar. "Tom? You there? Hey, can we talk?"
Peeking her head in, the yard was empty but the whistling continued.
The pool water was pitch black and at the edge lay a pair of sandals that she'd seen Tom wear often. Fearing the worst she rushed to the pool's edge and peered into the inky blackness.
The whistling stopped just as a quartet of tentacles slid from the water. Susan had just enough time to scream.
