OOC: Hy I would like for that soul rever card to be one time use. Stealing some one's soul card esentialy stealing their soul and that isn't something that should be easy to do and much less something they can do off the start of the game.
DT, along the same lines the person burnt up and turned into a card. If a person dies card user or not they simply die. The exception to this would be if the old man was some type of creature summoned by a card. Prehaps revived from a stolen soul card.
Also keep in mind that soul cards typicaly are used to enhance existing cards by fusion at a card temple. A soul card has the painted history of a persons life on it as such a soul card comeing from knight would bare the results of a strong and noble fighter in the result. Changing an arrow into a silver arrow, or perhaps a hoarse into a centaur.
IC: Fights are never a good thing. A bandit stabed at me with a knife and I side steped. I reached into my card pouch and pulled out my next card, the jagged cetus. When I could I always kept this item card at the top of my deck. With a twist of my wrists the card activated wraping my knuckles in a razor blade. The bandit struck at me again and I ducked under his blow and dilivered a punch to his gut.
He took a step away and began to flee. The poorly trained fool had no interest in fighting once his own blood was spiled, and while that wound would leave a scare a jab with a cetus rarely proved fatal. If he had stayed my next blow would of done a great deal more damage.
The fight was over and I was the last one to send one packing, except for the boss who was just freed from a cage. I was out of ear shot and didn't hear much of the details of the conversation, just about this person being a threat and what not. What I saw how ever was clear, this person had a soul reaver card, one of the rarest and most powerful cards known. OH well I guess he deserved it.
"Well if we are not going to go for your cards then I suggest we go to some palce were we can talk. Correct me if I am wrong but doesn't the town at the end of this road have a library?" I was fairly certin it did, since the union of the kingdoms of light and darkness over 20 years ago, these countries have had time to build such things for their people, so while places like this remain un comomon they aren't nearly as rare as in the three other elemental nations. "I have something I want to do research on, and I figure we might as well head their as any place else. Or perhaps a card shrine would be beter, so you can make us of your new card."
