I have been considering this for a while now...

But upon arriving home and logging in, I had a couple of PM's waiting for me that helped me make up my mind.

As such...I have decided to officially, and permanently retire Thesandman. I have already contacted Laurel, and she has agreed to not only delete all my stories, but my bio and profile as well. A long with this thread.

I have unsuscribed to all threads, so I will not be recieving notification of any posts. And as such...I will NOT be returnig to Lit any time soon. Too much of a temptation for me. And until I get my personal life, and situation resolved, I think it best for everyone concerned.

I have valued, and appreciated everyone's support and friendship over the years. It has meant a lot to me. Also please note, I will be changing my email addy's shortly. After I have done so...I will contact you individually with my new one in the event you still wish to contact me and say hello from time to time. If not, I certainly understand.

Regarding the PM's I read upon arriving home.

I agree. It is both inappropriate, and unfair for anyone to become involved (especially on someone else's thread) where conflicts or personal matters make the enjoyment and friendship both awkward as well as less than entertaining. For that, I am sorry and do appologize to anyone...and everyone who may feel that way. It won't happen again. Which is one reason I am retiring officially, and permanently as Thesandman.

Again...thank you all for being there for me through both the good times as well as the bad. I will remember you always.

I know you won't see this, but good-bye for now my friend. The door is kind of left open there for you to return one day in the future and I look forward to that day. We shared alot on the threads, in email and a couple times by phone. Your insight into things, as well as your friendship through Lit means alot to both Dawn and myself. We miss the entertainment and we will miss you. I'd do a sad smilie but it doesn't call for that.

And Syb, I really don't believe Sandman would want anyone leaving Lit nor the relationships they've developed with others. It's not the Sandman way. Now, send him an email so he contacts you when he gets his new email addy.

You remain Thesandman no matter the signature but I'll let it pass this time-Best to you Rick!
