Living in an apartment. Stacked on top, below, beside people you don't know like Legos. Odd smells. Banging. Breathing the same air. Your excrement mixing with others as it slips slowly down to who knows where. Paying money to borrow someone elses space.

"I" don't miss it at all.

Acne. Splattering the mirror with puss. Applying ineffective creams. Getting one on the end of your nose right before that first date.

"I" don't miss it at all.

"I" miss people who don't miss shizz.

You know.. fuck..them peeps who are always:

"I miss winter...I miss fall...I miss my little dog Toto"... etc.

Fuck dat shit.

Never lived in apartment. Rented a room, then a house. I already owned a house when I set my then fiance up in an apartment. Hated her apartment for all of the above reasons. Probably should have kept the apartment and kept the 8ncome from the house.

Only time I ever shared a wall was crashing at friends company-owned duplex.

Over my many years I've been through a lot of roommates. I learned from experience that the roommate with the least tolerance for filth generally does the bulk of the cleaning. I'm not thrilled with the prospect of cleaning up after other people but it sure beats living on the other side of a wall from people that don't clean at all.

I'm thinking of going condo...

I could do without a lot of the yard and maintenance issues.

Maybe walking distance of the old down town and the night life and cultural events.
