Being around the people I know will always love me....my family!

Listening to my dad and uncle talking philosophy lol.

Realizing that my cousin and I are like twins but haven't seen each other for over 20 years.

My dad saying he was glad he could spend time with his family, but especially me *shocked face* lol

Chilling with the extended family and seeing my grandmother's sister probably for the last time.

Feeling the love from everyone that counted

An e-mail exchange with a wonderful friend reminding me how much of an optimist I really am. I was having a bad day today.

ME: "You have to admit,when you have low expectations and a negative attitude,you are pleasantly suprised when the day turns out ok."

HER: "Well yeah. That's a positive way of looking at being negative..."

The day turned out ok...as I knew it would.

This is great... it's not quite as funny as I thought my son would like it... I had to explain what ironing is and that was tough because there is no iron in the house...nor have I ever ironed in front of him.... and no, our clothes are not all wrinkly
