INCUBUS is running away with it so far. That is so cool it makes me want to buy a vehicle just to cop it.

I am wondering if anyone here even knows what an incubus is.

Well, if they don't here, then all the less chance they will down in Trailer Country. However, there will be that one gothic farmgirl sub pushing her bike along the country road when he comes flying by in his Beemer with the INCUBUS vanity plates and her eyes will light up...that's how I picture it in my mind's eye.

I know the dictionary def. of the word, and it doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Not enough to get excited over, anyway. I think you have to have read those Pern books, and I had a big aversion to fiction featuring dragons for many years so I never touched McCafferty's stuff. So I don't get the literary allusion.

Historically, succubi were blamed for nocturnal emissions in males, and incubi were blamed for many an unplanned pregnancy.
