Thinking of posting pics

he died in 2008 and I miss him allot, he was my little old man

i am so sorry teddybear, i understand more than you know....i raise goats and great danes here, they are like my children and it is just inevitable that some will pass, some timely and some way too soon....i have learned to love them for the day and do the best i can cause every time one passes, i feel like just giving up, then i think, "there will be another babygoat or puppy that needs me and maybe won't survive if i don't keep on"....gives my heart something to hold on to....

I have 3 cats too ... you're completely right each one is so different that there is more than enough space in your heart for 7.

What are they called and what are they like?

we have
Petunia: she is at least 18, maybe 19 years old, she is the queen of the house, undisputed
Gossamer: he is a fraidy cat at first, but then he becomes a cuddle monster
Jupiter:he is a big black fluffball: he is loveable when he wants to be

then we have the siblings, Evanescence, Lugnut, and Chubbles: Evanescence(Evey) is my baby girl, she is so loveable and patient with my niece, Lugnut is the Kitty Union spokes cat in the group because he always tells you something he wants done, Chubbles has the mindset of a fat black woman, she doesn't care what anyone thinks and you better give her love or else, lol

then we have Porkchop: he is a true fraidy cat, iif you come in with someone, he squeezes his 30 pound ass under something and you won't see him for hours, but he thinks he a lap cat at 30 pounds

Saw this thread and just wanted to show some respect man. I'm a bigger guy myself so I know you were nervous, respect.

I love how you describe them all, I can really imagine them now. You have a gift with words, sweetheart.

I love the sound of Porkchop and Lugnut! I love characters and they sound like they have that by the bucketful! They all have such wonderful names too! I love cats ... I'd have hundreds if I could :D

The main man of my household is Bilbo (know as Black Cat). He's a huge, furry black fluffy lump who, at 17 years young, acts very much like a little old man. He spends his days snoring (loudly), emitting hellish smells and being decidedly grumpy. His grumpiness is very much an act though, if you pick him up he melts in to this purring ball of affection who snuggles in to you and nuzzles your neck. He lost a leg 7 years ago so is one of my two tripods.

My eldest female is Gizmo (Baby Cat to the family). She's the daughter of Black Cat and his sister (Frodo who died 10 years ago). She's 16 years old but is the most playful creature. She used to be an amazing rat catcher but after she had a bad accident where she too lost a back leg (it is by awful coincidence exactly the same one as Bilbo!), she's retired and a house cat now so spends her days chasing my socks and throwing her toy mouse in the air rather than the real thing. She recently had a small stroke but seems to be recovering fine. When I'm home she is never more than an arm's length away from my side.

Kitty is my youngest (my family call her Ninja, because they never see her). She hates all people except for me. She's the cleverest cat I've ever met. She sits on my mobile when it rings to tell me to answer it. She knocks the alarm clock on the floor when it goes off because she's learnt that stops it. When I'm in the shower she comes in with me and sits on the side so she too gets soaked! She talks to me, at me and, I swear, about me with the other cats. She can jump from the floor to the top of wardrobe from a standing start, she climbs the curtains, ambushes the other cats and growls at the postman. Kitty is a horror but as she's my horror, I love her.
