This desn't fit here, but anyway . . .

Sometimes I forget I'm visiting a porn board. I wonder what it's like on a poetry message board that's not attached to a porn site? The only other message board I've ever been on was one for fighting.

Oh we've had some ding dong battles here before now some of which I'm sure you've seen, one thing you can't call this place is boring which the other two back slapping sites I've been on surely were. Being originally a porn site gives this place a certain edge. The other sites I've been on would have thrown an apoplectic fit if I had dared to type 'cock' in fact I think one of them would have deleted it before it even got to the page!

and even the dust shall be subsumed where tectonic plates collide ;)

hmmm ... subsumed's not exactly the word i'm thinking of but darned if i remember it offhand

Probably mean subducted. One thrusts deep under/into the other, and everyone gets hot.

aha! that's the one - when one mass is forced beneath and down below the other, heating and finally becoming lava ... before being released as an eruption somewhere else as a volcano blows its load. that one. :)

Is that your boob? I only ask cos awhile back one of the then contributors to this board dared all the ladies to put up their own boob avatar for an hour ...... I did it but don't think my nerve lasted the hour lol

No not my boobie. My boobie is smaller. I'm still in my training bra! I did post a nekky pict of myself once at lit and regretted doing it. It was about a year ago and was one of the reasons I was off lit for a few months.

Here fluids again play a key role. Water goes down with the rock and aids the partial melting and then rising. A volcano if it rises to the surface, otherwise stays below as granite.

Your pm box is full chipbutty. I need to send you a link.
oops, okay, i'll go make some space :)

Granite forms at great depths > 10 km.
I always like to think about depths in km, and convert to km to better understand what crustal zone is under discussion. For other measures I'm more comfortable with English units.
