This seems ominous.

If you ask Pence, our problems here at home matter a lot less than getting more tanks into Ukraine.
Rinos like him and Graham seem to be bought and paid for. They all have bought into this idiotic idea that somehow going to war with the Russians using Ukrainian men is in our national interest. Nothing could be further from the truth. Meanwhile, why they are focused on that idiocy a foreign army of military aged men are invading across the southern border and the government has no clue who many of them are.

Message to the Congress on Ordering the Selected Reserve and Certain Members of the Individual Ready Reserve of the Armed Forces to Active Duty

Supposedly we have the most powerful standing army on earth, 800 plus billion a year worth. So why do we have to activate 3000 reservists? I'll tell you why, we don't have the world's biggest army, our navy is struggling, recruitment is way down across the board, and nobody knows where a big portion of that 800 plus billion goes. Then we have Joe Biden being directed by his owners, whoever they are, to squander what is left of our war stocks in Ukraine. The bottom line is out of an alleged army of 1.1 million we'd be hard-pressed to move 80 to 100,000 actual combat troops anywhere. The days when we could move 500,000 troops and their equipment like we did in Desert Storm are long gone.

You are right, but that is an established pattern, but we gear up quickly and often to our advantage. We always have the most up-to-date weaponry fighting somewhat outdated armaments.

That's why you have reservists; to call up when you need some reserves. Ammunition has a 'use-by' date, we don't keep massive stocks of 1960 tanks or shells because we're not Russia.

A large proportion of the $800b goes into the pockets of the capitalists. You complaining?

Do you still want to surrender a chunk of Europe to Putin like Trump does? We know what Putin has over Trump, we don't know what he has over you.

In the 70s we had corps-sized elements already in Europe with all of their equipment, stores, ammunition, properly maintained tanks and armored vehicles all ready to go. We have nothing like that in place today. We send a heavy brigade over there once or twice a year for training they have 87 Abrams, 152 Bradley IFVs, 18 M109s and 45 armed M113 vehicles and about 4700 soldiers. In a real war situation with the Russians that is a pittance compared to what the Russians have mobilized to date (an army of about 750,000) and they are already in the field. We'd still have to get there and I have no doubt they would interdict anything we tried to fly in or ship in. The whole idea of a ground war with the Russians in Europe is ridiculous in this day and age. Any enemy trying to move an army into the United States would meet the same fate. Russia is a continental power in Europe, in today's world, we are a continental power only in the western hemisphere.

I forgot there are still some people who believe Putin wants to invade. Europe doesn't have anything he wants. For the past few years he has been turning Russia away and telling Europe to fuck off forever.
Just fyi, Ukraine is in Europe.

^The borders of Europe can be moved as needed. If you want to say everything west of the Urals is Europe, then that includes Ukraine. If Europe is only a peninsula of the Asian continent, then Ukraine is at the edge of the peninsula. Culturally, much of Ukraine is Russian, which could therefore be Asian. As Europe loses wealth, political power, and cultural prestige, many nations may stop claiming to be European.
So instead of acknowledging that Ukraine is in Europe currently, you double down.

Fun.

The part of Russia where people live and work is in Europe. The part which is trees, is in Asia.

Trump loves the poorly educated.

Good. Damned good. Our Founding Fathers ,when they warned us not to get entangled in Europe's endless squabbling, knew exactly what they were talking about. We've gotten so much dumber since then.

People say Futball is the sport of Europe, but it's not. It's fucking with each other like gangs of soccer hooligans.

The EU is nothing more than a pile of uranium in search of a detonator...

You also liked the part where the founders had slaves too I bet.

Oh do fuck off. There was a tremendous debate about that and a compromise was made to form a union.

You are some kind of vapid self-proclaimed intellectual.

One has nothing to do with the other.

I can't believe you even posted that. 🤷‍♂️

George made sure to send his slaves back to Virginia routinely so as not to lose them while he was serving as President in New York.

And you want to talk about entanglements? And don’t see how that is connected.

Small mind there on you Karen.

Most, if not all, of what you post from not so bright Bart and PJs is total deflection and distraction… and yet…

But as long as you are allowed to make random connections… the world is okay. Got it.

You brought up entanglements, I connected the dots. Pick a different argument, I’ll give you a different response.

If you want things that only fit inside your small brain, then even this forum is too much for you Karen.

Connected the dots?

OMG

That's fucking delusional.
You attempt to connect all sorts of things in your posts— usually that have no connection.

I connected entanglements, to beloved George, and his entanglements with his slaves. That is still within the same person and era.

But sure, ridicule the argument because you don’t understand it.

Thanks Karen. Will sit back and wait for more comedy. With the writers and actors on strike, this is pure Gold Jerry!

You're just a guy out taking a walk looking for a squabble...

I guess it's too late to wish you a good day.

You sound angry bro...

Nope, not angry at all. And they are all good days- with the exception of what small minds will believe because they see it PJs or not-bright bart.

Just looking to enlighten, guessing you didn’t know George had to cycle his slaves back to home office to keep them.

So, because "some" Founding Fathers owned slaves (history lesson for our historian, Washington gained his through marriage and it was ILLEGAL to emancipate them at the time) then everything else they said was, in legal terms, fruit from the poisoned tree...

You are a special kind of hating idiot.

You deserve your own classification.

PS - If you're going to throw around History to make a (non-) point, then you should really know your history...

Tootle-Loo, I have to run.

Half-step Mississippi Tootle-Loo,
Hello baby I'm gone goodbye...

Ohhh, so throwing Martha under the bus. She was the mastermind eh?

And some you mean how many? You must know the number since you qualified it.

Oh man!
I was too slow on my post!
Prison Mike has left the building.
I’ve no doubt that he’s off to go kidnap the president’s son.
