They annoyed me to death before. I never had a boyfriend before M who cared if I wore one, so I didn't. With M being Mr. Buttman and him enjoying seeing me in a thong I tried them on one more time for him. It took me a few days to get used to the feeling. It's like wearing glasses for the first time or so.

Now that I'm used to them I wear them practically all the time.

I've worn them - but only at the request of my boyfriend of the moment. Right now - I choose not to wear underwear most of the time - much more comfortable. I always just felt uncomfortable with thongs - no other reason for not wearing them.

Personally I have never worn a thong but I would be open to the idea. I would assume that you just stop noticing it after you've get used to it. Maybe, if your wife is uncomfortable with a thong, she could go pantyless. It might be a new and exciting feeling for her. I think I might give it a try. You've piqued my interest.

I've never had any issues with thongs being uncomfortable, once I started wearing them I like them better than any other kind of underwear.

For the most part, I don't wear underwear--fantastic breeze. When I do wear thongs, I enjoy them--makes me feel all sexy like, not to mention my tukis looks sensational! No discomfort for me.


Perhaps your wife should try out different materials?

Nowadays I generally don't wear them unless I don't want visible panty lines.

When I first wore them they drove me totally nuts. The strap up my ass rubbed constantly. Then I found a sweet little shop that stocked a brand that I just LOVE.

So my experience is, if you don't like them, try a different brand or two. There are a lot out there and they all are cut. fit and have different materials that treat you a little differently.

I personally dont care if I have them or not, I guess it would depends on what I am wearing and what panties I have to choose from in the drawer. I do have to wear thongs to match my tight pants sometimes, I really hate it when my underwear shows through my pants

I bought my first thong as a novelty item (they were camoflauge)
I ride horses and started wearing them when I rode so that I didnt get the obligatory wedgie when I was done riding.
Then just started wearing them all the time.
Now, I cant stand to wear a "full coverage" pair of briefs. Thongs and only thongs for me

My wife used to wear them only for "special occasions" since she knew the effect they had on me. But she switched over and wears them every day. She tried going back to something more conservative for a day and said it felt really weird to have full coverage and will only wear thongs now. So for those special occasions now she'll just go without!!

I alternate between wearing a thong or "going commando" - depends really on what I'm wearing. For instance - skirt/dress (with or without pantihose) - nothing. Jeans - Thong. gym gear - nothing. For me, it's about being comfortable. Admittedly, I do get the 'butt floss' feeling sometimes when I'm wearing pants/shorts/jeans. Tried going commando for a bit, which was nice for a bit, but after a few days wearing jeans "commando style" I found the material was beginning to rub and chafe a bit, so, back to the thong most days.

Hockeygurl - you wear a thong to the gym? Man, I can't wear anything under gym gear! Just too darn uncomfortable when I really need to be comfortable! More power to ya!
