Would it tint the sky kind of red? Is it that bright? The moon is also in the direction of the city, but it did seem to have a red tint.

Nope...

that's probably the city... a lot of cities use amber street lights... you can see better at lower wattage then the white street lights so they save electricity and money.


Mars will look like an airplane that is just "hanging" there

Hey, I saw it! The description helped. Very very bright light, just over the tree tops. Can't see moon though, it isn't high enough over that section of the trees. Getting cloudier, too.

hehehe.... the moon is the only thing brighter then Mars in the night sky right now... on the 13th Mars will be it's closest to Earth...

sent back pictures and everything...

the one in the picture got "lost"... when they sent it down to the surface they lost contact with it they have no idea what went wrong it. i

it's down there on the surface...
