He smiled as he held onto Myreia, truly thankful that he had her there. He had a feeling if she hadn't things wouldn't have turned out as well. He couldn't help that he had discovered within himself the spirit of an ancient dragon's spirit... it wasn't like he had gone on a quest just to gain such power, so Asema's jealousy of course was unfounded.
He noticed when the children were pulling her away from the castle. He didn't think that it was anything malicious, however as she went out of sight he frowned.
" Asema? come back here!"
He gave a yell, though as she didn't return right away he looked to Myreia and sighed.
" She is far too trusting..."
He moved instinctively and rounding into the village he saw her again, though as he saw her he did let out a sigh of relief, and going right up to her he cupped her chin, gently lifting her eyes to his.
" You are not to leave my sight... especially with the Barbarian and that dark soul of an elf.."
He looked genuinely worried, and rightfully so. This village along with many others he would imagine had lived in fear of the Barbarian for a very long time. He didn't know this place or any other, but back in his realm he knew the power of fear and it could drive people to do very sickening things.
" You had me worried my little girl..."
His other hand reached out and wrapped around her slim waist as he pulled her flush to him, though he leaned down and kissed her deeply, his lips demanding of her passions as he held her flush to him. Finally though he released her and smiled softly.
" Do you know this village well?"
He wanted her to know just because he had Myreia help him didn't mean that he had lost his devotion or desire for Asema, because that simply wasn't the truth. Besides, he was just a worry wart over her because he clearly cared for her so much!
