Name: Elsie Lee O'Hara

Age: 28

Status: Single, never married, engaged a few times but more interested in success right now

Job: Commercial Model and Actress (Specializing in photography and Stage Performance)

Education: Bachelor's in Writing, Master's In Literature

Appearance: 5'4, 100 lbs; white; straight, long red hair, true red, nearly orange, falls to just above her waist; deep, brown eyes, long eyelashes/red; freckles, pale skin; model's build; always 'made up' never slouchy-dressed for success; eyebrows, finger nails and toe nails always done; shaved pubic area, except for a small triangle in the middle of the 'v' of her pelvic area, as red as the hair on her head , small size 'C' breast cup; long legs, strong hips and a round ass. Even though she is a model/actress she still doesn't see herself as “beautiful”, definitely not conceited; very much the 'girl next door'.

Dresses up for auditions and when she goes out. She always wants to look her best. She does not dress provocatively unless a role requires it of her. She is moderately successful at what she does. Many men are interested in her but while she is outgoing and fun, she is actually a little shy. At home she always has her hair and make-up on unless she's asleep but she will dress in more 'home appropriate clothing: jogging pants and tanks or t-shirts, flip-flops, shorts. She hates going barefoot.

Hobbies & Habits: Runs every morning, she loves to go out on her back patio and listen to music while she writes, or she will do an impromptu dance when she's happy or feels like it; she has been studying dance since she was two; as well as taking voice lessons. She does yoga on the patio and/or meditates in the backyard most evenings; if she is preparing for a role she will run lines or sing her parts too. Of course sometimes she is working and not at home, on set or at rehearsals. She loves reading on balcony whenever she isn't working. This could be any time, as she does not have a set working schedule, just rehearsals whenever they are called. She likes to drink every once in a while but prefers shots of Patron, or a Martini to beer or wine. Every once in a while she will have a girls' night with some of her friends at her house. She mostly eats salads, humus, fruits, vegetables, and other things that are healthy and lean toward weight consciousness but she isn't a 'health nut' or vegetarian. This diet also makes it easier for her as she isn't much of a cook and finds it tiring to cook for just herself.

Comes from a middle income family, roots in Ireland, daddy's girl, Patrick Gerald O'Hara; and momma's pride, Evelyn McGuiness O'Hara. One brother, older, 30, Patrick, Jr., he is her protector, always has been.

'Ugh...' She was glad she had finally gotten everything in the house, but she hated unpacking. She stood in her bedroom thinking of all that had to be done. Her brother Patrick had helped her move all the bigger things where she wanted them, but now, he was gone back to Georgia, and she had to put all the smaller things where she wanted them. She had been nervous about the move to New York. She had honestly just planned to teach Literature at the local community college and work on her PhD, while possibly writing a novel. However, her part time hobby of acting in the local theater had whisked to an alternate reality. It happened that a new stage scout, Robert “Bobby” Lansing, had noticed her in her lead performance of a new musical written by the director of the theater, “Oscar Worthy”. He had approached her after he had seen her perform the third night in a row. He had introduced himself, invited her and her to come to New York to audition, asking her brother to join them, for her peace of mind. The company and theater he worked for was a fairly successful, off-broadway, company called...”Watch Out...” They had immediately booked her for their new play, a newer rendition of “Oklahoma”. When Bobby had sent out her pictures and resume to other companies a modeling agency had gotten in contact with him asking him is she also modeled. While she had never done so, she decided to take a chance.

These new jobs and their signing bonus gave her the money to follow her parents advice and buy a townhouse, in a rural area just outside New York, NY. This was how she found herself looking around her home with disdain for unpacking the small things. The chocolate leather loveseat, sofa, and recliner were already snuggled together in the open living room facing the quaint fireplace. The small mohagoney kitchen table sat in the open space of the breakfast nook off the kitchen. It was where the plates, pots, silverware, etc was going to go that had her stressed. Or the pictures and throws, or other living room type things she had not patience for especially when she had to hang them. Besides, she was too short to reach most of the places she would want to hang them which meant she'd have to find the stupid step ladder. As it was, most of the downstairs stuff was still in boxes in the downstairs bedroom at the front of the house. She was going to use it as an office once she got things settled. The old desk from Ireland that her dad had insisted she take was shoved against the back wall in it's home. It was huge and more than she could move by herself so she hoped she has chosen correctly where she wanted it.

Her petite five-four frame was encased in sweat as she continued to unpack towels, sheets, blankets, etc from the boxes and put them in closets and transferred them to weather proof cases to be placed in the attic. She had already made her bed with the hunter green silk sheets and down comforter. Her grandmother's old rocking chair sitting beneath the bay window waiting for the next storm. She had finished the large bathroom, putting all her toiletries and make up and such into the places they needed to be. Her long hunter green robe hung from the robe hook next to the shower stall door. Her clothes were already separated by type, style and color in the walk in closet, where her shoes had also found a home. She had a small dresser in the middle of the closet that held her unmentionables and the writings she had never published. She smiled as she put the towels in the bathroom closet. “Her own place”, it had a nice ring to it.

She finally finished putting the upstairs things away, finishing up the guest room too. She realized she was starving and really thirsty. Proud of her accomplishments she made her way down the stairs next to the overlook from her bedroom to the living room. Her house was really nice and entirely her. She felt proud. She went into the kitchen to see what she had shoved in her cabinets and refrigerator the day before. She realized her hair was bothering her and pulled the long mane into a lopsided ponytail. Usually she would take more care to make sure it looked nice but today, she was tired and by herself. She immediately threw away her brothers left over cheeseburger from the fridge. She realized she had some grilled chicken tenders left from the night before. She pulled out some European salad mix, shredded cheese, carrots, cucumbers, and black olives. She chopped the chicken and threw it over her salad and grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge. She poured lite Italian dressing over her salad and made her way to the balcony, upstairs and just outside the open wall of her bedroom. She had already sat up patio furniture out there. She placed the salad and water on the small glass table and inhaled deeply. It was actually a beautiful August day, although it was a little hot. She was from the South though, so the heat didn't bother her too badly. She looked around, really for the first time, and realized that the balcony was actually connected to the neighbors townhouse as well...it was simply separated by a low, swinging gate. 'Oh well,' she thought, 'I won't be home much anyway.' She continued to sit and eat her salad, making a mental list of what else she needed to get done this afternoon and tonight. She started rehearsals in the morning. She looked into her bedroom at the clock. It was 3:00 p.m. Once she finished her lunch, she went inside, rinsed her dishes and put them in the dishwasher. She then went out onto the patio under the balcony, in her back yard. She decided she would work on her yoga and de-stress her body before she meditated and went back to work on her house.

Making the turn onto Inglewood Brian breathed deeply as his day was finally coming to an end. Looking around the subdivision he again marveled at how empty it was. The developer for the division had gone broke with only about two-thirds of the homes built and there were less than half a dozen occupied homes. He had himself just moved in two weeks prior and was surprised that it appeared the town home adjoining his had recently become occupied as well. He had yet to lay eyes on his new neighbor though.

Pulling into the driveway to his home he tapped the leather covered steering wheel waiting for the garage door to open. As it rolled up he surveyed his slightly cluttered garage. The work bench on the right with a few unfinished projects made him think for a moment about spending the evening puttering about but he quickly discarded the idea. On the left side of the garage his mountain bike sat looking forlorn as it had been weeks since he went riding but alas it would sit there for at least one more day. Finally, as the door finished opening he pulled in and climbed out of his car, his back crackling as he stood.

It had been a long day where he had to drive into the city for a series of meetings and he was glad to be home. Thoughts turned to a cold beer and something charred on the grill. Walking into the house with those thoughts and a growling stomach he set his keys on the dark marble counter and his black leather messenger bag on the hardwood counter. Loosening his tie he breathed deeply again at the pleasure of being home. Surveying the house quickly his recliner in the living room sang a sweet siren song but he knew better than to have a seat or he would never get dinner going.

Walking past the counter where he had set his things he quickly trotted up the stairs and made the left into the master bedroom. In a few moments his grey pinstripe suit, maroon shirt and grey tie were strewn unceremoniously on the bed with his leather wingtips sitting tipsily on the floor next to the bed. Standing there for a moment in boxer-briefs and his undershirt he considered just going as he was but since he would be outside grilling he didn't want to shock his new as yet unknown neighbor.

Crossing to the dark cherry wood dresser he selected a pair of worn, faded, grey cargo shirts and an equally worn t-shirt and after stripping out of the undershirt and underwear threw them on. Feeling much more relaxed he went back down the stairs and started to pull things out of the fridge. A medium size sirloin steak, some corn on the cob and a large sweet potato. In short order they were prepared and ready for the grill. Looking up at the clock it was only 3:30 and he smiled. It may have been an early start to the day and a grueling trek throughout but if he was this far into the afternoon and already working on dinner maybe he would get to the workbench after all.

Grabbing a dark stout from the fridge in one hand and the plate of food in the other he nudged the door open to the covered patio and walked towards the grill. Flipping on the gas side of the grill he started to arrange everything so it would cook nice and slow over the low heat. It was at that moment though that he also became aware of some movement on the other side of the patio and looked over his shoulder. There he saw the flash of a leg over the low wall dividing his patio from his neighbors.

"Hello there! I guess you are my new neighbor." He walked over to the wall and looked down to see a petite redhead twisted into the most interesting of poses.

"Hello there! I guess you are my new neighbor."

Elsie was deep into the yoga she was doing. Her mind was clear and blank...nothing existed but her and the poses. Her breathing was even and flowed with her moves. She had already gone through some of the more simple moves and had moved on to some intermediate type moves. When he spoke, she was in a pose that had her in a backbend, but it was her shoulders and not her hands on ground. If he had been watching a moment he had seen her lift her right leg and then her left leg up into the air.

She jumped when his voice reached her, blushing and completely breaking her concentration. Her frame collapsed, her bottom hitting the ground somewhat harshly. She sat up slowly, looking over her shoulder to see him. It took her a moment for her eyes to refocus. It took her another 15 seconds to remember that she was not dressed to meet anyone. She was wearing shortly cut off sweatpants, the waistline rolled twice to keep them on, with a worn tank top of the same color, light blue. She was wearing no make-up and her hair was sweaty and pulled up in a messy ponytail. She immediately blushed and realized there was really nothing she could do but speak to him. It would be rude to do otherwise.

She finally stood up. She pulled the legs of the shorts down as far as they would go, the waistline being pulled down to show a bit of her midriff. They had rode up on her thighs as she had worked on her yoga. She straightened the tight tank top, trying to hide the tiny bra straps behind the straps of the shirt. She quickly pulled the ponytail holder out of her long red hair and ran her fingers through it, trying to make it look presentable. There was nothing that could be done for her naked face. After that quick rearrangement, she turned to him, though she didn't walk any closer to him. She hoped that they could have a quick exchange. She felt gross, sweaty and unattractive. She wanted to shower and then meditate.

She gave him a soft, shy, smile; forcing herself to make eye contact with him. It was something she was trying to work on. Her agent had told her that eye contact was really important in her new line of work. "I guess I must...be your new neighbor I mean," her southern accent taking over her speech since she was not at work. "I-I didn't think anyone would be home this early...um...I'm Elsie." She couldn't quite get her speech or what she wanted to say in order in her brain, or get it to come out of her mouth the way she wanted it to come out. She was nervous, uncomfortable, tired and he was REALLY cute. Plus, she didn't know anyone outside of her working environment; and he WAS her neighbor. She grabbed her water off the ground beside her and took a long drink, not knowing what else to do at that time.

As she stood and straightened herself out Brian couldn't help but scan her entire body and was quite pleased with her figure. As he looked her over it was not an open gawking but more a quick appraisal as any man is likely to do when presented with an attractive woman. His eyes were particularly drawn to the motion of her hands as she tried to reposition her shorts to a more modest arrangement and as they were tugged down he could not be sure if there was any hint of panties beneath them. This caused his eye brown to arch momentarily in piqued interest.

As she spoke his attention refocused on her face. um...I'm Elsie. he heard her finishing before she took a long drink from her water bottle.

"A pleasure to meet you Elsie. I am Brian Fulton." He held out a hand to her. "I didn't mean to startle you there. Just was at the grill starting to make dinner and I saw your legs move above the wall here and decided to come and introduce myself. I guess that was yoga you were doing?"

She moved close enough to take his hand, blushing. "Yes, it was yoga. I'm really into it. It helps me relax, stretch my body, focus, and it helps me get centered." She had decided to ignore the fact that it was her legs that had given her away. she finally took his hand in hers to shake it. "Well it was nice to meet you Mr. Fulton," she said, her southern upbringing shining through by her addressing him by his last name.

"I have to run inside. I have to finish my house tonight; unpacking and such. I have to start my new job in the morning. I hope you enjoy your dinner." She let go of his hand and turned to go inside. "I guess I will see you around."

He watched he retreat back into her house and couldn't help but take extra notice of how well shaped her hips and butt were, especially given the way the latter was trying to peek out the bottom of her shorts. After she was inside he returned to the grill and finished cooking his meal. He decided that it was a nice enough evening to warrant eating outside so he carried the food back in to get it transferred to a plate and grab some flat wear. With that and a second beer in hand he took the stairs up to the second floor and crossed through the master bedroom to the balcony.

Outside he had a small bistro style table and two chairs where he normally sat in the mornings with his coffee or in the evening to have a quiet drink. It was really quite the view from there as the townhouse backed against a green belt so he had a nice view of some woodland and the setting sun. Sitting there eating his steak and sweet potato his mind wandered a bit thinking over the details of the day. Even as he did though his thoughts went back to Kelsey... no Elsie.

Sitting back in his chair he looked over at her house, there was the same low wall that divided the patios dividing the balconies. From where he was sitting in the failing light he could see inside her bedroom now that the interior lights were on and given there were no drapes up yet.. It was very tastefully decorated with an obviously feminine touch. He felt somewhat the voyuer sitting there looking inside and was about to get up and go back inside and head down to his workbench when he saw her walk into the room. Suddenly he was not quite so interested in the work bench projects and he watched her move about the room.

As soon as she was inside, Elsie took a deep breath. She vowed to herself that she would make sure the next time Brian saw her that she would look more like herself. She was terribly embaressed to have met him looking like she did today. She ran to the half bath downstairs and looked in the mirror. Yes, she looked as bad as she thought. Oh well, it was done now, she thought. She went through the kitchen looking for a snack but couldn't find anything she wanted to eat. She made a mental note to pick up some hummus and something to eat it with. She also made a mental note to pick up some ice cream. Then she decided she should just use the dry erase list pad and write the list down, so she did.

She walked around the downstairs, checking to see what she still had left to do. Mostly, it was just the office now. She wanted to go out on the balcony and read, but she was afraid she'd run into her neighbor. So, she decided, first things first, to go take a shower and clean up, to be done moving things around for the day. She needed to go to the grocery store anyway. She jogged up the stairs to her room.

She went to her closet to find something to wear when she got out of the shower. She found a pair of white, creased capris, a button up shirt of the same material, that had small and large, primary colored circles on it; the background was white. It was professional enough but it also hugged her curves just enough. She stepped into her closet and pulled out a set of white, matching underwear and bra. She laid them on her bed and looked them over approvingly. Finally, she walked over and closed the curtains on her balcony, not really looking out the door, just closing them for privacy.

She goes into the bathroom and strips down, turns the shower on and when it is warm, climbs inside. She showers with her coconut and shea butter regimen of products; shampoo, conditioner and body wash; even her lotion and body spray are the same. It is her favorite scent. She even has a rather expensive perfume her daddy had made for her that smells like this as well. She rarely uses it because it is so difficult to replace, but she wears it on special occasions. Besides, they don't like strong smells from that type stuff on the stage it can irritate your fellow actors. She stands in the shower for a few minutes even after she is done with cleaning herself, the warm water feels wonderful against her tense muscles.

Sitting there he sipped on his beer as she shifted around her room gathering clothes. For a moment she was framed by the light as she drew the blinds closed. From behind the sheer curtain she became just a shadow for a moment. He watched that shadow standing there like some 1920s pin-up poster.

As she faded back into the light and the bathroom he turned his attention back to the food sitting on the table. It was half eaten and more than half cold. He gathered it up and went back inside. Quickly he cleaned up the dishes and then found himself out in his garage tinkering at his workbench.
