Thundercats: Meant to be...

The sun shone down on Thundera's walls. It had been a long morning for the Cheetah. Getting up at the crack of dawn for more training and exercises had been hard enough as it is, but then Jaga had pushed and pushed the Cleric to her limits. None of them knew what was round the corner so they needed to be ready.
Cheetara was a strong women and was very skilled in what she did. Fast and agile and years of training got her where she was today. Though being a cleric had its good and bad moments. Looking after the sword of omens and the king was such an honour, but keeping her identity secret was hard. Jaga had made every cleric swear on oath that no one apart from the other clerics should know who you are!
Once Jaga had left her, she retracted her staff and placed it back in its place on the cuff on her wrist. She only had a couple of hours before the celebrations began at the Lair. She even got herself a new gown to wear especially. She needed to look good around royalty even if she was off duty. Plus it meant she could speak to Prince Lion-o and Tygra without a mask and secret identity. She could be herself and enjoy it!
Once home she got a long hot shower. She closed her eyes under the water smiling. Once out, she dried off and carely for once placed her hair tied to one side of her shoulder with it drapping down curled. Once her hair and make up was down, she grabbed her gown, which was Green in colour. She picked the colour to be different as she always wore orange. The gown itself was strapless, with a small slit between her chest, revealing some cleavage as the boned corset pushed her bosum upwards. It was tight fitting to the waist then flowed out slightly. She smiled at the mirror. "You look awesome girl' she said to herself. Once her shoes were on, she head to the lair where the lights and music excited her!

-Lion-O after the toughest month of training ever, was ready to enjoy him self at the party. Getting dressed up as he would have to he presented him self in the mirror, clean and presentable was his main goal and he was certainly that. Lion-O wore Royal Garb similar to a princes vestment but it had more flare to it. In the colors of Thundera his outfit represented him being the new ruler.-"I look good at least,Perhaps Jaga is right this will be good for me."
-Walking through the hallway it was apparent the closer he was getting the more nervous he was getting. The lights seem to become brighter,the air thicker,the people closer.-"Calm down Lion-o its only a party."-Lion-o told him self that and he was feeling the pressure he had to make a impression on the guests.-

Cheetara walked in and looked around. The palace looked so different though the Thundercats emblem still stood out on the floor which put a smile on her face. She had a glance around and spotted Jaga so she walked over to him.
'My dear Cheetara' He said as she greeted him with a curtsey. 'Looking so radiant as normal'
'Hello Jaga. Its such a lovely evening. And thank you. I do try' She replied smiling. 'Its a great turn out isnt it! So many cats here!'
'It is indeed my dear and an experience for all!' Jaga replied glancing over to the wandering Lion who had entered the room.
'Is that Prince Lion-o Jaga? he looks different all dressed up!'
'Don't we all dear!" Jaga replied gesturing to the Cheetah attire.
Cheetara smiled and headed over to get herself a drink.
'My dear Cheetara' He said as she greeted him with a curtsey. 'Looking so radiant as normal'

-Lion-o still a cub compared to many of the others here, mainly the guards and all of Thundera's council Lion-o felt a bit over whelmed.-"I am definitely not a party goer."-he spotted a Cheetah going for a drink he thought a drink would be good as well. Lion-o approached the drink table and picked up a glass filling it up with some what appeared to be Wine.-"I think its that Nectar Jaga was talking about."
-Lion-o looked around taking a good look stepping back a bit he bumped in to something turning around he came face to face with the Cheetah.-"Oh I am terribly sorry."-he apologized handing her a Napkin in case he put any thin on her.-

Cheetara was taken back alittle when he bumped into her. Thankfully no drink spilt on her even though he did hand her a napkin.
"Its okay Prince Lion-o. Nothing was spilt. Accidents happen'
She smiled at the Lion as she picked up her drink and took a sip from it.
'Tastes nice' She said as she glanced off onto the dance floor. She could see Tygra enjoying himself swooning over some ladies as normal and the King seemed to be enjoying himself too.
'Good party so far isn't it. I bet all the girls will be after a dance with you or your brother tonight' She asked.
"Its okay Prince Lion-o. Nothing was spilt. Accidents happen'
She smiled at the Lion as she picked up her drink and took a sip from it.

-He nods and laughed a bit nervously.-"I guess so not unless my brother takes all the dances for him self."-He looked to the cheetah a bit in aww of her looks.-"I see you know who I am miss but, you are a stranger to me may i have your name."-he asked as he bowed for her and extended his hand.-
Cheetara smiled and took hold of his hand gently and gently bowed gracefully toward him.
"My name is Cheetara my prince. I work around the grounds, serving the crown."
She smiled and took another sip of her drink. The party had really taken off now and she knew she couldn't stay to late because she once again would be up for more training in the morning with the clerics. She couldn't tell him that though.
"So i hear your heir to the thrown and the sword of omens will be yours one day. You excited about it??" She asked curiously.

-Lion-o nodded and smiled.-"I look forward to it and embrace that day."-he smiled as he sipped his drink and looked at Cheetara's eyes-"If you do not mind me saying Cheetara your eyes are very attractive."-he said as he began to talk to the cheetah music began to signal a dance.-"come Cheetara how about a dance."-he said extending his hand to her.-
-The party moved and swayed a bit haunting but never the less began to dance to the tune that played. Tygra had his fun dancing with 3 women the ol cat and There Lion-o was hitting on one of the most sexiest girls he had laid eyes on. he noticed Cheetara's face a bit speechless.-"You are not shocked are you? Did you think i would choose another woman to dance with first?"

Cheetara blushed slightly and smiled.
"No i'm not shocked, just no one has commented on my eyes before. Thank you"
She took hold of his hand.. "Lets dance then"
She let him guide her onto the floor, not to far in the middle but in a comfortable postion. She smiled at him as they both started to sway to the music.
"I must say Prince Lion-o, that it will have to be a short dance, time is pushing on and i need some rest."
She noticed a slight disappointment in his face, and really really wanted to tell him why, but it was no use as she knew she couldnt!
"I have early starts so can't be up to late!" She said smiling.
"No i'm not shocked, just no one has commented on my eyes before. Thank you"

-Lion-o smiled in her statement.-"I under stand I am not able to stay up late my self for tomorrow I inspect my court Clerics tomorrow and see there skills in action."-he said as he glides with her across the dance floor he smiled as the song came to and he let go of Cheetara.-"I know this will not be the last time we see each other until then Cheetara fair well."-he bowed to see her off and turned to approach Jaga.-"Jaga were you watching me the whole time."-Jaga nods.-"Young cub you truly emerged so much since you were smaller. Your Leadership and people skills are getting better. Go entertain your guests a bit more, then you may take your leave for the night."
Cheetara's heart pounded alittle when she heard the Lion say he was going to inspect the Clerics. That made her nervous alittle and knew she needed an early night to be at her very best.
"Thank you for a lovely evening Prince Lion-o. I shall see you around" She said as the Prince turned and headed towards Jaga. Cheetara noticed Jaga smiling at her and she turned around and headed out of the big hall.
Once back in her room, she undressed and climbed into bed. She let out a large sigh and smiled to herself. There was something different about that Lion and she wasn't sure what it was.
Her alarm went off and her arm hit it to turn it off. She sat up in bed and stretched out, letting out alittle groan. She lept out of bed and had a cold shower to wake her. Once she was sorted to turned to her wardrobe and took hold of her cleric robe. It hit who she was well, and only her eyes could be seen through the mask. She attached her staff to her cuff and headed down to the training area. She was greeted by Jaga and some of the other clerics who had started to warm up.
"Morning Jaga!"
"Morning my dear. Ready for a good session today?" He asked
"I always am sir! I hear King Claudus and Prince Lion-o will be calling down, and possibly Tygra too?"
"You are correct!"
Cheetara nodded and started to warm up, starting with a slow jog and building speed.
"Thank you for a lovely evening Prince Lion-o. I shall see you around" She said as the Prince turned and headed towards Jaga. Cheetara noticed Jaga smiling at her and she turned around and headed out of the big hall.

-Lion-o retreated once checking up on the guests. Tygra had to be the party animal[no pun intended] and go to bed late. Lion-o slipped in to bed and closed his eyes. The next morning Lion-o yawned waking up already seeing the Clerics work out.-"This will be quiet impressive today."-he said as he grabbed his clothes and began to shower. Once ready he sat down to breakfast.-"Morning Dad."-he said as he began to eat breakfast by his side.-"Morning my son are you ready to inspect your Clerics today."-he said-"You get 12 personal Guards i suggest you choose them well."-he nods.-"I will Dad thank you."
Once warmed up from her running, Cheetara settled on combat against another Cleric. She spun her staff around and then flew up into the air coming down hard, knocking the other cleirc off their feet.
"Very nice! Keep it up!" Shouted Jaga as he turned to see the King and his son walking up from afar!
"Clerics, your king is approaching but you may continue for now!"
Cheetara had a quick glance from her mask and saw the Lion she had danced with last night along with King Claudus. She then turned her attention back to her contender!
Her staff swung round, knocking them off their feet and she pointed her staff down towards their chest! "Im just to quick!" She laughed!

-Lion-o approached with his father as he watched the clerics.-"This seems very interesting."-he said as he watched the clerics continue there training.-"That one seems promising"-pointing to Cheetara who he had no idea.-"Very agile....I am almost tempted to test my skills against them."-he said.-"Now Lion-o your Sword skills are good but a staff is different."-Lion-o nods.-"I intend to use the staff as a sword."-he said picking up a staff.-"Cleric with the grey and white robe come here."-he said as he watched Cheetara approach him.-"Would you be interested in testing your skills against me?"-he asked holding on to the staff as a sword and readied him self. Taking a closer look he could see the eyes of his opponent and, was a bit taken back but said nothing. He kept his composure.-
Cheetara looked up and walked over to the Prince.
"Yes sir, if you wish but i warn you, you may not like what you receive!" She replied to him taking a stance with her staff and twirling it around in her hand.
She then flew herself at him, running fast and both their staffs hit against one another. She dodged a couple of his swings and ran around him, cracking him against his back and knocking the prince to the floor. She held her staff above him and looked down!

-Lion-o was impressed of course he let Cheetara catch him off balance, feeling a bit unfair though he kicked her back as he rolls backward and picks up his staff.-"Not bad you are good but try that again."-When she charged him Lion-o stepped to the side last minute raising the staff to her torso before coming around with it and knocking her to the ground.-"I will say Cleric your skills are definitely worthy." -he smiled and helped her up.-"Who is next."-Lion-o had to base his choosing off of each cleric that came through next up was Panthra under the hood as he began his duel with him.-
Cheetara bowed and moved to one side. She retracted her staff and moved over next to Jaga to watch the Prince.
"You did fine my dear" He said looking down to his student!
"Hope so, i know i can do better Jaga!" She said lowering her head.
She looked up as most of the other clerics, were falling faster than she did. At least she'd knocked him to his feet. She couldn't help but notice that he'd looked at her alittle strange to begin with. Surely he couldn't regonised her? The she remembered what he'd said to her last night about her eyes. She shook her head and looked back up to the fighting that was going on.
Taken by surprise there was a huge bang and smoke started to bellow from the other side of the grounds. Everyones heads turned. The Cheetah noticed Tygra running fast up to his father!
"Were being attacked Father by the Lizards and Mumm-ra is heading this way!!"
Cheetara perked up her eyes and knew there was going to be one huge battle ahead!
"You did fine my dear" He said looking down to his student!
"Hope so, i know i can do better Jaga!" She said lowering her head.
She looked up as most of the other clerics, were falling faster than she did. At least she'd knocked him to his feet. -Lion-o gasped.-"Jaga do you think the Clerics are ready I don't.....No never mind If you think you can fight then let us stand together! Remember its a battle Injury is bound to happen!"-The king smiled to his son as He ran in to armor up Lion-o did the same as he passed Cheetara he looked her in the eyes and continued to run in getting ready him self.-"You herd the young prince if you want to fight then get your weapon of choice ready."-the clerics began to run in and get ready.-"This is going to be tough."-Lion-o told him self as he wore his armor and grabbed a sword and shield.-"I am ready."-he said standing by Tygra who nods.-"I been waiting for this kinda excited."-the king soon came up with the clerics and other soldiers as they lined up.-"Ready.....Release the bridge and charge."-the bridge came down the door open and Lion-o raced out with the others. Lion-o found his first two opponents regular lizard men who he began cutting down.-
This is what they had been training for! She was excited but nervous at the same time!!!
Cheetara took her stance with the other Clerics and waited for Jaga's command!
"My Clerics do your best for the crown! Let us fight!" He shouted and every cleric sped off like the speed of light. Cheetara's legs moved the faster they had moved in a long time, as a trail of yellow followed her. She charged into a pack of 5 lizards and all went flying upwards and landing hard to the ground! She pulled out her staff and pounded it into the ground, letting a force wipe over the lizards, once again knocking them to the ground and damaging their weapons! She quickly glanced over at Lion-o who was going a good job also and King Claudus was sweeping the sword of omens around, killing every lizard it touched.
The cheetah looked ahead and could see a familar face. Grune! She took her stance and Jaga came up beside her. "Becareful my dear, he is a brute and traitor!" He instructered her.
"I know master! I want a piece of him" She replied growling slightly.
"Haha Jaga and his clerics, you are no match for me!!!" Grune shouted. "Im not here to fight you, though i will kill you but i want the King and his pathetic sons!"
Cheetara charged at him spinning her staff as fast as she could. He swung his large hammer like weapon round, clashing with her staff. She stared into his eyes of pure evil. She jumped up bringing her staff up and kicked Grune in the head, then hit him hard with her staff. He soon came back though and grabbed her by the shoulder, lifting her above her head and throwing her down. She grunted as she landed, her back hurting but it wouldnt stop her.
"Now get out of my way Cleric, I want King Claudus!" He shouted!
Cheetara took her stance with the other Clerics and waited for Jaga's command!

-Lion-o saw every one was holding there own that is until Mum-Ra showed up and began the fight with the King.-"Oh no dad!"-he began to run towards him when more mutants blocked there way-"Out of my way Lizard breath!"-Lion-O began to slice each on up as they stood up to him.-"I will not let you get in my way."-he grunted as he beheaded another lizard.-"FATHER!"-Mum-Ra roared as he attack King Claudus but, the King began to oppose Mum-Ra Greatly giving him a heart time.-"THAT SWORD OF OMENS WILL BE MINE KING CLAUDIAS!!"-he grunted as he swung once more at Mum-Ra.-"In your Dreams you Vile Basturd!"-Claudus grunted as the attacks were feirce.-"FATHER!"-Lion-o shouted as he began getting closer to Mum-Ra but Tygra stepped in and helped Lion-o.-"Not a good Idea Bro that is Mum-Ra there is no way you would survive."-Lion-o grunted he knew Tygra was right but it did not look good for The King.-"That is not a Concern it's Dad i do not think he has the strength to defeat him!"-Lion-o burst through heading for Mum-Ra as He jumped up to attack with a helm splitter. Mum-Ra Easily Dodges it.-"Lion-o Prince of Thundera Say your prayers as well."-NEVER!"-Lion-o and Claudus both began there Assult which drove Mum-Ra back a bit.-"You Worthless cats will never defeat me!"-He growled as The King began to charge up the power of the sword of Omens.-"Sword of Thundera Give us Power. THUNDER-He swiped his sword- THUNDER-Swipe the sword again-THUNDERCATS....HOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!"-The Sky became red with a signal in the sky, as all the Thundercats grew in power. There eyes sparkle with instinct and power and a flame.-"Bring it on Mum-Ra you will Never defeat us!"-Lion-o had a fire in him as he attacked Mum-Ra and jump kicked Mum-Ra back before Claudus swiped at Mum-Ra once more.-

Cheetara kept a watch on Lion-o and the King as Mumm-ra began his attack. She had her own hands full with Grune. She swung her staff at him again and again, hitting a few mutants out the way at the same time.
She could see strikes coming from the sword as the King kept fighting. Grune took her by surprise then, lifting her into the air and throwing her up and down to the ground, she landed with a thud and growled, her cloak nearly revealing her. She quickly looked to her right to see Lion-o was down, as was Tygra then her eyes widened in horror. Mumm-ra had the king up in the air and stabbed him straight though his heart. She growled loudly as she heard Grune laughing. She looked over and saw Lion-o and Tygra captured with horrow on their faces.
She turned and found Grune looking down at her. "No point in fighting now is there!" He laughed and grabbed the Cleric as she looked around and noticed that every other cleric was dead. Jaga was down on his knees next to Mumm-ra who was grinning!
"Thundera is mine now Cats, you will obey me!" He cackled!

She quickly looked to her right to see Lion-o was down, as was Tygra then her eyes widened in horror. Mumm-ra had the king up in the air and stabbed him straight though his heart. She growled loudly as she heard Grune laughing. She looked over and saw Lion-o and Tygra captured with horrow on their faces.
She turned and found Grune looking down at her. "No point in fighting now is there!" He laughed and grabbed the Cleric as she looked around and noticed that every other cleric was dead. Jaga was down on his knees next to Mumm-ra who was grinning!
"Thundera is mine now Cats, you will obey me!" He cackled!

-Lion-o fought hard and Tygra joined in but one strike blew Lion-o and Tygra back and down. Lion-o and Tygra both saw there father raised up and stabbed right through his heart. Lion-o and Tygra roared loudly there bodies trembled with horror and fear in the power they were dealing with. What were they to do now?-"Whiskers we couldn't save dad."-Soon they passed out The lizards enslaved them as well as grabbing Cheetara and Jaga as they proceeded towards the castle of Mum-Ra.Soon Tygra and Lion-o were chained and imprisoned in the dungeon as Lion-o soon wakes up.-"Uhh my head."-he said as he looked around looking at Tygra.-"I see your awake Lion-o I'm sorry to ay but I think were goners."-Lion-o looked down.-"We need to get out of here i guess for now that would be out of the question."
Cheetara had been chained to a pillar in the main room of the castle. Her cloak was still covering her face and she could hear everything going on even though she kept her head low. Mumm-ra could be heard torturing Jaga, trying his hardest to be able to use the sword of omens and the claw.
"You will tell me old cat! I will use this sword and the two princes will die!" Cackled the mummy!
"Never!! I will never tell you anything!" Jaga replied with a struggle!
Mumm-ra then shot a wave of energy from his hand at the old cat, making him scream and groan. Cheetara knew he wouldn't be able to take much more! She just hoped the two princes were okay and possibly might be on their way to help them some how...
