He led her into his office, leading her to the small adjacent bathroom which consisted of a shower and a hand basin, he pushed open a door to reveal the toilet in an adjacent room.

"Take your time."

Keiko quickly strip down, not even waiting for him to leave. She slip in the shower to clean up, no need be shy after she was married and even pregnant with his baby.

She lady slip out and dried and placed her hair before slipping in her new dress.

She step out of the washroom to join her husband: " I'm ready to go"

He looked up from the papers he was looking at and smiled when he saw her all fresh and clean again.

"Seems like the ladies at the shop picked out a good replacement, I will have the other dress cleaned and sent home."

He motioned her over and pushed the folder so that she could also look at the papers, "This will be the next meeting, after that we can go to lunch and if you want to, you can stay for the last meeting, but it is not as important as the one we had and this one."

 

[Kililia]

She came by his side as she looked briefly at the paper and back at her husband: " I know that you want this to be a family business.... Though we both know I do not wish it..... The thing is, I honestly think best, I no longer get involve...I mean less I know ... Is that not better?"

 

[TertiusHuman]

He glanced at her, "You said that you want nothing to do with the other part of our life. The clan business. This is the family business, it is what will provide for us legally."

He turned to rest against the desk, "And why deny it, Keiko, you have the mind for this, you are good, a natural. I can see that you enjoy being in the thick of it, even if you have to go through me to keep up appearances. Just like you attacked that imbecile for endangering the health of our child, this is my way to provide and I need your help as you see things that I normally would not."

 

[Kililia]

Keiko sighed:" if I am a mother now...I do not want my hands tainted...I am not trying to start a fight...it's how I feel... And for the record that bastard deserved it and just regret not slitting his throat out"

 

[TertiusHuman]

He laughed softly and cupped her face in his hands, kissing her gently, "Your hands will be as clean as fresh snow my love. I keep telling you, this business is clean, above board, and has no dark secrets or funny business. I have been working hard and long to get it to where it is and you can rest assured that it is clean."

He gave her a smirk, "I think the first blood ever spilled for this business was today. The opposition will start to take you serious as my partner, as long as you don't show them exactly how smart you really are."

 

[Kililia]

Keiko rolled her eyes as he mention her victim again: " Even morons know that you should never attack a child in front of their mother....its his own fault" *Kissed him* " I still rather find these meetings boring"

 

[TertiusHuman]

He playfully tapped the tip of her nose with his finger

"You didn't sound very bored a few minutes ago."

He grinned and picked up the folder to slide it into a basket, he took her hand and squeezed it, "Let's go."

 

[Kililia]

Keiko pout dramatically and followed after him:" ohhhh god....I sooo gonna fall asleep on this meeting..." * Smirk*" if you hear someone snore just don't look in my direction"

 

[TertiusHuman]

He gave a soft laugh, "You'll be too busy on your tablet to be bored, you already gave away your secret to me."

He pushed open the door, and the other people were already seated, they all rose and they exchanged bows, he sat down, waiting for Keiko to take her seat next to him. Nobody raised an eyebrow and no remark was made about Keiko's presence. It seemed that word were already spreading fast and that suited him, he didn't have time to explain every time.

 

[Kililia]

She quietly entered the room and sat by her husband with out a work. She quietly acknowledge everyone and looked into her tablet and glance at the husband the lead the meeting.

 

[TertiusHuman]

Just like the first meeting, Keiko's input became invaluable, keeping him on the edge and giving him leverage in ways that would only have become clear to him much later. Again the meeting ended with him looking like a juggernaut that would bury any resistance and after the group of men had left the room, he sat back in his chair, turning slightly towards Keiko.

"Seems like we will be gaining not only new income but also a merger seems like a feasible plan for them."

 

[Kililia]

Keiko reply was just a yawn: " i don't know how you enjoy such boring meetings. I rather be have my leg hump by a dog till completion than go through another one of those boring meetings...." *Yawns as she unconciously ran her hand over her belly: " Can we go home now.....? I am hungry"

 

[TertiusHuman]

He chuckled, "Not even properly pregnant and already you want to sleep the day away."

He rose, holding a hand to help her from her seat, "Let me take you home for lunch, I will come back for the last meeting and then come back home to you."

 

[Kililia]

Keiko happily accepted his hand as she got up and snuggled up to her husband. She looked up lazily:' get use to it baby...it's aleeppt,mommy time when I ain't bleeding ppl out ... Hehe" * She kissed him softly and tensed up as he offered going alone. She hated feeling he might be in danger:" " do online meetings...say you have Covid"

 

[TertiusHuman]

He laughed softly, "Just now you tell me how boring it is to sit in these meetings and then you act like it is a warzone."

He kissed her forehead, "Come along, let's give your tired body some food and rest."

He offered his arm for her to hook into and together they left the room, his aide handed him a file, for the last meeting of the day. The guards surrounded them and they made their way to the elevator and down to the lobby.

 

[Kililia]

She obediently followed his side as she pouted as he always got his way:" you know....we could sell all this luxury, and give in a tiny house or farm..a simple life..." She smiled as she always wanted make large garden and live off her land:" aside honor/ duty why did you accept this life?

 

[TertiusHuman]

He looked at her as they moved through the lobby, "I hear you, but then let me ask you a question in return as an answer. Why did you start your own business and hid it away?"

 

[Kililia]

She looked back at him, reply with a smirk:" don't you remember, darling? I was saving money to run away from you? Or whoever father set me up with..." Sighs dramatically:" yet here I am pregnant by my worse enemy... Life is cruel"

 

[TertiusHuman]

He chuckled and playfully pinched her cheek, letting her enter the car before him, sitting down next to her

"And that is why I started the company and worked so hard on it. To make money. Luckily I didn't have to run away from anybody."

He gave her a smirk and then rested an arm around her shoulders

 

[Kililia]

Keiko leaned against him and slowly drift asleep. It was obvious that her first pregnancy was draining alot of her energy as the baby grew. ANd her ideas of escaping him seem to be something of the past as she began accept her new role as his wife and mother of his child.

He gently woke her when they arrived at home, glad to see even in her befuddled state, she remembered the basic house rules. He gave her the time to freshen up and they sat down for the meal, he looked at her clothing and grinned, "I thought that you'd like to change into something more comfortable once you got home. Or are you going back to the office with me?"

 

[Kililia]

Keiko sighed: " might as well go to the office with ya b ut you gonna owe me a full body massage after...." *Yawned as they were served their meal. She glance down and yawned : " I dont feel like eating this....Any pickles? peanut butter? green tea ice cream?" *The servant looked a horrified by her taste*

 

[TertiusHuman]

He shook his head, "The way you are yawning, you are more likely to fall asleep than anything else. But if you want to come along, you are more than welcome."

He motioned for the servant to take the food away, "Bring her the pickles and peanut butter we have."
