Just a variation on the Musical Colours theme ..... this one devoted to words that denote passages of time used in song titles .......

It's so scary that it's funny. I mean, really funny. The way he sings it, especially the part about the young girls, just makes you feel like you should shower if you can stop laughing long enough to listen.

Hee hee. So true. My other favorite is his version of "Lucy In the Sky With Diamonds". I seriously throw that on when I need a good laugh, cause I actually own it. Oy.

Oh, speaking of that album, but by the Beatles, has anyone mentioned "A Day in the Life"?

Reeling in the Years- Steely Dan right?

I should know that one, as it is incorporated into the title of one of my latest writings.

Double oy, indeed. Bill Shatner...at least he doesn't take himself seriously.

Actually I do like him...I'm a big Star Trek fan...and you're right - he's been a good egg about his image as a 'ham'!

Having said that, my next post is for you, Ms. Poodle!

Living in Dog Years...The Neurotics :D

Awwww, how sweet!!!!

And yeah, he's a good sport. He would have to be knowing that he can't sing, yet here he covered all these songs. Did you see that movie with him in it, where these two young guys are farting around with their love lives, and he is their hero, and actually befriends them? I caught it halfway though, but there, he totally makes fun of himself. Gotta like that.

Thanks... one tries one's best.

Great song pick, too, btw. I have tried to stay away from overwhelming this thread with every song that comes to mind, but it's gotten harder and harder to do.

Let's do the time warp. :D
