Yup. Completely on board with a dye job that coordinates with clothes and skin tones. (For me that'd be cool neutrals, muted and warmed up with mid-level saturated tones.)
My choice would be the temporary clip-in extensions. *nods*
However, full disclosure. I'd never go with the bright rainbow colors - too cold and clear. They'd wash me out and be utterly unflattering.![]()
.... A hidden rainbow would not wash you out, but add a layer of fun and games to your daily life.
Only real frustration though, the colours will wash out so darn fast.
Dye jobs should compliment your skin tone, and if done right: it would not impact much on your clothes.
For instance, I love the blue tones - they, like all other fantasy colours do wash out with time, but using purple shampoo, I can control the process and making sure that I get that silvery result in the end.
(I avoid bright red and orange, my skin tone is neutral, so in theory, I would be able to get away with it, but feel most comfortable in the cold/neutral scale, so no warm tones.. Which is a bit ironic: my original hair colour is reddish honey/ strawberry blonde!)
Clip-in extensions are cool too! And you can really go all out, without any permanent consequences
