TIL a few things:
I can't sing Nirvana, even when it's All Apologies, and even when I have the music in the backround. Can't do it.
Not eveyone knows what " twitterpated" means, even while they are in the midst of it.
I'm a sucker for kitties wearing collars with bells.
My GFs soothe my soul when they sing to me.
I'm dreading this debate.
This merlot is pretty darn tasty.
I was sadly right about the anorexic kid at school.

Today I learned:
That fire is still indeed hot,
That bypassing idiotic safety measures on industrial appliances that do more harm than good, is perfectly acceptable,
That both my co workers, and the people I take care of at work really do appreciate what I do for them, even if the company doesn't,
That still don't know much about fixing a t.v.
and finally that, as much as I love dogs, I'm very much a cat person

I shared the idea for this thread with Far and cookie a few days ago but didn't have the chance to start it. I've very happy Noe did it when I told him about it today.
Most of you know I'm a student so I learn things all day everyday, both professionally and personally. There was a thread like this on the nursing boards I met Far on and I really loved all the different things that I learned in turn from other people sharing their experiences. So, why not here?
Anything you feel like sharing that you learned is awesome. Personal experiences, random new facts, sexy things... Whatever strikes your fancy.

Things I Learned Today:
-My ankle roll two weeks ago was a lot worse than I thought, given the amount of pain it's in right now.
-Teaching kids about bugs is and always will be fun....
-...especially when their beautiful mothers' are transfixed to me treating their child as an actual person and not some little rug rat, and thereafter don't notice how their tops always "just happen" to sag down showing me great bountiful glimpses of their ample breasts.
-That the lovely little octopus at work is very adventurous, and probably a girl.
-And that I already love the little squishy wee-beasty like a daughter.
-And that no you can't judge me for thinking that octopus is so cute I just want to squeeze it and love it forever and.... HEY! What did I say about judging!
