Today I .........

Today, at the risk of sounding sexist, I only like them when they can walk, talk and play!

Today you must know that I also love babies..........as long as they belong to someone else and are younger than 10 months!

Today I have to agree.. I adore them when are newborns..... they are sooo cute!!!! And it is great to give them back!!! but I would like one of my own just the same!!!

Today I like them much better when I don't have to babysit them.
Ain't it fun being grandpa??

Today I was sure I saw not only light at the end of the tunnel but actually prosperity, only to have it snuffed out at the last minute.

Guess I will just have to keep looking for ir and not trusting. It is not as though I don't have signed contracts but when you dance with elephants that doesn't seem to matter.

Today I watched my daughter get to live out a pre-teen dream and meet one her film idols.
Mondo big time mommy points!:D

TODAY I wonder where todayers were 35 years ago when man walked on the moon for the first time?

Today Gil, I look back on those days and smile......what a wonderful time.

Today is almost over for me so I will say my last hello of the evening to you all.

I remember the moon landing very well. I was home as a little girl and I went outside to see if I could see the men up there! I was lucky to see a few of the Apollo lift offs as well as lots of sattelites go up too. Way cool.

Gil I hope your recovery is going well.......

TODAY I agree with DGO as life then seemed so much less hassled, doors could be left open without fear of being invaded, AIDS wasn't known, ppl appeared to respect each other more....& every thing was less complicated.

Today I wish I could say that I was nothing but a gleam in my fathers eye, or even that I'm too young to remember it. However I do remember it almost as if it were yesterday. I remember being mesmerised by the whole thing - at the time I was just finishing junior school.

But on the up side the progress we older ppl of LIT have seen in our lives that the young take for granted.

You are so right and really I wouldn't want to have missed any of it.
