Today I .........

Today, as I was driving to the east, I noticed a great sunrise... that was underscored by all the trash vehicles traveling West from out of state towards my home area.... I witnessed careless school moms in their SUV applying makeup talking on the cell, drinking coffee speeding with the children in back and thinking that little piece of steele may save their life against 35 tons of rolling metal.... I seen the agressive businessman, talking to himself or maybe a speaker in a traffic jam as he weaved thru traffic that the "Big TRUCKS" leave for safe stopping distance so they do not run over anybody and this without the use of signals!!!! Seen the little prep kids in the cars mom and dad buy them acting reckless and stupid with all the horsey's under the hood but, not the maturity to realize life is short... than mom and dad wonder to themselves as the coffin is lowered how could this happen to little John or Sue??? I today witnessed many who had driven in corners who thought the lines were not a boundry, but something to be crossed... well, I am sorry, I maintain my lane should fate deal that you come head on into me, because you are to busy to take responsiblity... I have a family also and for me to get out of your way, may mean my demise... Slow down in life, slow down in traffic think about yourself as well as others.... >>>

Cold I am not, though when people start wagging a finger at those people who drive a truck, just remember, we probably, in a years time do almost the same amount of time in reverse as you do forward. 2. We are responsible to make sure you eat, sleep and get heat or cool in the winter and summer. 3. We also have families, who we care about and them for us! 4. Any vehicle is a killing tool, and who decides is probably up to you, but we usually get the blame for the stupidity of "mommy" leaving the house 5 minutes late and driving like hell. I just hope this has been a little insight in my day...... I will extend any curtousey, though the reverse should also hold true and I do hope to hear comment on what I have written... good or bad!!!

Tonight I would join you with that wine - but I don't drink anymore! So I will enjoy our time with my ginger ale! How was your day Den?
 
Today started out rough (woke up & had a good cry at home, little cry on the bus, and a little cry at my desk) but once work got going I was okay. I've been training someone for 3 weeks now, so I'm busier than a one-armed paper hanger. Our last case confirmed to me how fragile the human mind really is.

How was your day, I know you were kind of low at the same time I was blue?

(I love ginger ale (tink! as I tip my glass to yours)

Today wasn't too bad - not productive thats for sure!! Feeling better - I suppose I'm letting some stuff go - or settle you know. So all in all - doing fine!

Today - no - never even heard of it! I don't like the taste of beer at all - does it taste like beer?
 
Today I send a belated congrats to DGO on reaching 10K!!!

Today, can I recommend Joss Stone's the Soul Sessions, my current cd favorite!! To think this kid isn't even 20 years old!

Cate, I'm not a fan of beer either (with the exception of an ice cold beer with a shot's worth of Clamato in it after playing in a softball tourney-but it's been a couple of years now)
