Today I wonder about the recipe.Denae said:Today is just one of many days that I recognize that Cate is a wonderful soul. I really wasn't trying to kill you with that recipe. Cate you never said a word about why it wouldn't be good for you, you just graciously accepted it.
I am such a schmuck.![]()

Denae said:Today wonder no more-Peppermint-marshmallow ice cream pie. I subscribe to Cooking Light and they had a group of ice cream pie recipes. I want to try the Cherries Jubilee ice cream pie.
How is everyone's favorite naughty teacher these days?
done_got_old said:The recipe doesn't sound too tasty to me.......I'm not a marshmallow fan.
Me, naughty? Never! I'm teaching several kids of former students this year along with a dozen or so siblings. Life is good........I have so many kids who have been warned .........
Here's what I posted on Higher's thread......
A student told me today that I taught her dad. "Is she still a little off center?" Dad asked his daughter........ the reply was that I was miles from center now.
Denae said:What you posted on Higher's thread is too funny. You have to be a great teacher or those parents would be yanking their kids left & right out of your class. That has to be somewhat surreal, teaching the children of your former students. The passage of time always hits me the hardest, when I realize my best friend's girls are no longer in diapers and are young women out on their own.
I don't like the idea of the marshmallow in the pie, but I know Cate loves peppermint ice cream. There's also one for Chocolate-Banana frozen pie with peanut butter crust.
done_got_old said:You're right about the experience. It's surreal........I don't know how they got so old so fast! I haven't aged a day!
I haven't had a single parent ask to have their child removed from my class! I think they want their kids to suffer. One parent stopped by to see if I really had a human skull on my desk! She didn't believe her son when he told her.........Yes, I do have a human skull, but it's not real. The turtle, duck and bull skulls are real. I also have the lower jawbone of a dog on display. Periodically, I'll turn to one of the skulls and talk to it.
Today I took a bike ride and thoughts were of my love.a_sweet_juicy_peach said:Today i took a long nap and dreamed sweet dreams of my love....
