Today I realize I cannot blame the cat for the disappearing Swedish Fish. Damn... who am I going to blame. Maybe I should go get another Swedish Fish to help my thinking.

Today I came home to find my sweetie had cooled off my little house, brought the trash cans in from the curb and the mail in from the mailbox. I didn't know little things being taken care of for me could feel so sweet.

Today a lot of other people's pain has been in my space...
...a young woman who I've known since she was born called me brokenhearted. I'm sorry for her pain but glad she felt comfy enough to call me, even though we live in different states....
...I made a page in a goodbye/appreciation book for a coworker who has been the backbone of the company and a constant source of positive energy and good naturedness. And the particular department he's in has been basically forcing him out...
I believe that in time both of these things might lead to even better things for these people despite their pain today. So today I'm also comforted by the fact that the experiences of today can become the lessons of tomorrow.
