Today I found out through a daily report I receive that someone I sorta, kinda, maybe, somewhat flirted with on select occasions had left our organization. No phone message, no email, no visit to say goodbye. Guess I know where I stood with them.
Today I accomplished lots of work due to my current work schedule of coming in late, people being off for the holiday, our organization being let out 2 hours early, and me staying late (also due to my work schedule). It felt good to do what needed to be done, for once, rather than putting out fires caused by those around me.
Today I ate a Sausalito cookie before I had my supper.

Today the mail confirmed that this weekend is just another ordinary weekend for my kids.
Today I know that I am probably more disappointed for them, than they are for themselves, but that is because I'm a parent and I don't like to disappoint my kids even a little bit.
