Today I:

purchased plants for the back yard: 2 hybrid tea roses, false indigo and 3 flats of annuals. This is only a dent in what I am purchasing this year. lol
 
Today I got another visit from a neighbour who I feel has designs on me. This time she brought her husband with her. At first I thought he was being disingenuous with me during our chat, but then he openly described himself as 'backward' and I realised he was completely without guile, unlike his wife. Although I'm intrigued, I know I'll have to avoid them both in future.
 
Today my heart melted with pride.... My beautiful daughter looked like a princess in her prom dress.
 
Today I got my hair cut and colored, had a wonderful chat with him and a delicious dinner.
 
Today I better go read someone's profile on Lit., don't normally ever do that, but I best do it now.

Today I realized there is something missing - granted I have known this for a long time, so maybe it isn't I realized something is missing - I just feel a bit melancholy that I still desire that missing something that I'll never have.

Today though it was very hard I did something that is giving me peace and for that - I now it was the right thing to do.

Today I am suffering a sore throat - thanks to the spouse, who once again has a cold.

Today I learned that they will be doing something special for the graduates at our church in two weeks - my daughter is one of them.

Today I planted some new flowers in a brand new bed I dug up - accidentally disturbing some ants - well a lot of them and their egg chamber. :eek: :(

saw many young ladies in their sundresses, shorts and bikinis. Much eyecandy was to be had!

saw a gorgeous, silver, original series Corvette on the boardwalk

got my farmer's tan because of not using sunblock since I didn't think I would be outside as much as I was

had my first Frosty of the year!

Today I made special treats for the kids at the hospital. Homemade chocolate chip ice cream sandwich cookies.
