Danesha moved very carefully. Her dark attire and skin were better suited for nighttime operations, but they still served her well enough to hide in the shadows of the thick bushes. And she had the advantage that she knew someone else was out there.
So it did not take her long to spot the first hint of the green clad elf and her dog like companion. An elf, of all beings. Prejudices ingrained for decades are strong, even in the face of reason. The scout's intent focus on the walls made it almost too easy for Danesha to circle her. All she had to pay attention to was the companion. She did not know that sort of animal, but since it looked similar to a dog it was also safe to assume that it had an equally well developed sense of smell. This was one of the reasons Danesha paid special attention to keep herself as clean as possible, and free of revealing body odors.
Finally she was in the ideal position, the slight breeze coming from the front, and she started the last stage of her approach towards her prey. She would be able to catch the girl alive, but the animal had to die. So when she was only a few meters away, and the animal would detect her any second no matter how careful she was, she soundlessly drew her blades, and started a short dash towards her targets. The elf had just enough time to turn halfway around to face her and get her hands on the hilts of her scimitars when one of Danesha's short swords was already buried deep inside her companion, and the hilt of the other one crashed against the scouts temple.
Danesha lost no time, since she had measured her blow carefully and her prey would not stay unconscious for long. She quickly disarmed and searched her victim, removed her cloak and wrapped all of her valuable belongings into it. The elf was wearing only a rather revealing piece of leather armor below, so much the better. She took a piece of rope from the scout's belongings and tied her arms firmly behind her back, then settled down to wait for her to wake up.
