Torn between BDSM and SF/Fantasy categories. Help!

Yep, Sci-Fi & Fantasy it is, then. Thanks for all your advice, folks.

A part of me wishes it was possible to submit stories in multiple categories for this reason. Because as you've said @anthrodisiac the most salient part of the story dictates where it should go. But that is determined by what each reader finds most salient about it. If the most salient part for one person is the setting, they might expect to find it in one place, but the next person might think the salient thing is the erotic content, which puts it somewhere else.

A story about gay astronauts, for example, shouldn't have to choose between SFF and Gay Male. It would be cool if it could show up in both! But never mind, I do appreciate the site and we've got the tools we've got.

Thanks again for your help.

As others have pointed out, like Sci-Fi/Fantasy (perhaps with an author note at the topic just to alert readers to what some themes they'll encounter in the work). I'm sympathetic to your situation. Several times I've found that a story I wrote doesn't fit neatly into Literotica's existing categories.
Exactly. I guess this is what the tags are for, I just hope people use them.

I've put an author's note on it alluding to feral BDSM, and given it relevant tags. I kind of wish we had an option to pick an additional category, but it's no worries really. Ultimately I'm only here because I enjoy this stuff, I don't want to quibble too hard.

I'm not sure what you mean. Can you explain the acronym?

I'm not in the US, and I'm really hoping this isn't a Republican National Convention reference (ew).
It's Reluctant/Non Consensual, so, yes, it's a Republican National Convention reference.
