Six days ago it was about 5 below zero here; right now it's 56. We had had about a foot of snow on our roof and it's all gone due to persistent rain. Water rushing along the curb of our street has worn a tunnel through the snowbanks left by snowplows.
Last night we had remarkably strong fog, as Wenchie described. It was strange.
That's about what's happening here too. It was 60 degrees at ORD today, 57 by my house. Below zero temperatures were less than a week ago and there are 15 inches of snow around here that have gone missing. And overnight we transition back to weather that's more normal for this time of year; lows in the 20s and a high in the 20s tomorrow...WTF?
I don't want to think about all the ice we're going to have all over the place...we had that yesterday and there were squillions of accidents everywhere.
