Means the same thing out here..."

I'd love to know the background on that one..

I'm sure you would... .but you'll have to find me for that to occur.

Either that or beg on your knees.

it aired here last week first time ... i agree the music made me want to puke ... but they have some very nice vulcans :)

They did a good job of trying to make it less 'advanced' than the other new ones. This is the problem with big US shows. Everyone on here has finished talking bout them before we get to see them.:(

My mates and I reckon that they got the theme tune cheap from a failed aftershave advert.

Next time you hear it, just think, "Enterprise, For Men."

Oh hang on, where were we? Ah.

T'Pol, hell yeah!

i have to ask something though ... isnt there more crew i mean theres about 8 people i've seen on the ship so far ... doesnt it take more then 8 people to fly and mantain a star ship ... who cleans the toilets and washes down the walls ... what about when people sleep do they just turn off all the lights and just sit in space

and where does the dog take his craps ? :p

I was wondering exactly the same thing--probably because they were talking about food preferences in this last show. But I actually like the theme song--no accounting for taste, I know, but at least it's less dated than some John Williams-esque instrumental. But perhaps--and I don't think I'm alone in this--it just reflects my general boredom with the whole Star Trek mileau.
I'd like to see them really start to screw with the mileau--a whole permanent and alternate timeline where they end up doing stuff that's completely innappropriate for Star Fleet. But I can't imagine anything interesting happening anymore with Majel Roddenberry worshipping at the shrine of her dead husband.
