Clown gave an sigh "Besides Web, we don't relly know that, Remember, we haven't had any connections with any out side planet remember? For all we know, they are still alive."
IC: "Think what you want but your shan isn't my Shan. Thats all there is to it. Mine was controled by a bunch of idiot politicains that care only of advanceing there carreers. The military was the one group that had any control or comapsion and they depended on the ploticains to activate them."
Now what am I going to do. There must be somethign more fun then makeing these two mad at me. "Now that I'm here what is there to do."
"Gat? Hey gat.... GAT!!!" An person (not too much younger than Clown) wearing red sensor goggles was working on an ride, the person jumped almost three feet into the air, scared out of its wits.
"What was that for Clown?!"
"Where's Darek?"
The person turned around and pulled off the goggles, showing flowing, golden haird, "He's busy with paper work, and I'm busy right here! So buzz off Clown!" She put on her goggles on again, and turned around.
"Well I guess we have to wait X... Come on, we could get you a place to sleep..." Web said obviously still steaming. He went ahead with X-78, but Clow had an score to settle with Gat's attitude, he slowly snuck to the on switch, and turned it on, causin water to splurt out.
"ACK! CLOWN! WHEN I GET MY HANDS ON YOUR SORRY ASS I SWERE!"
"Ok... You can sleep here for the time being, if you are going to stay with us, then find something better than this." Clown said opening a room, it didn't have much, an bed, which looked like an mash unit bed, with an blue sheet. There was an closet, a couple of drawers, and an chair.
"You goit to be tired, why don't you take a rest? I'll be back in a hour or so."
IC: "It feel like I was alseep just yester day, but I haven't slept in the last hunddred years. Or is that all I've been doing this entire time is sleeping?" In any case your tired and should rest. I floped myself down on the bed. I shut my eyes and began my rest.
"Hey Gat, um.... S-sorry about that, heh heh! It was a joke" Gat instantly wraped her hands around Clown and sqeezed, HARD. "GAK!!!"
"Why you lousy, ass-clown! Do you know how long it took me the last time to straighten out my hair you pulled off one of your 'piss Gat off for no reason bits?!'"
IC: I wonder if anything else fell here. Maybe thats what I should do. Also how advance are these people here? I was begining to rest. I wonder if that girl is availible.
"Well well well! If the love birds aren't fighting once again!" Web said with an sadistic smile, which made both Gat, and Clown, who was dropped as soon as web said so, give him the cold stare, and they both said in unison "ITS NOT LIKE THAT!!!"
Web couldn't help but laugh, he knew that pissed them off, and he enojoyed every moment he did say that line, "Well what about that saying 'you only hurt the ones you love', Eh?"
*Thwack!*
Gat instantly knock a few screws loose from Web's head with an hammer *Ah! Gotta love anime humer!* "Then I must REALLY like you huh?!"
"On the other hand... sometimes they could just be real ass holes!"
The ocean rippled as the soft wind caressed the yearning whiteheads, as if the waves strained to reach the heavens -- as did all, he mused. Out here on the sea, Earth was all but vanished, surrounded by nothing but Water and Air. Like the tiny dot surrounded by opposing forces on the Yin-Yang circle, the peoples of this land huddle on crafts forged from Earth and Fire and pray to their gods and dragons to rescue them from Water and Air.
Storms, and monsoons, and hurricanes...
He stood high on the mast as sailors watched him curiously, but he did not fall to his death, to their disappointment; THAT would have been amusing. However, he simply stood, breathing deeply of the salty sea air, pondering the weaknesses of humanity.
I wonder if I could've swam, he thought.
But no... taking a ship was another experience. And experiences where what this journey was all about. He clasped a thick tome tightly in his hand, glancing down at it periodically. He had studied his fighting techniques every night, and following that period of meditative exercise, wrote in his journal... but he knew his journey had barely begun.
His blue fur whispering in the wind like a thousand zephyrs, his pointed ears twitching of their own accord, and his short tail wagging out of the small hole in the seat of his pants, Dobok smiled.
Once again to the realm of Earth and Fire, and far from his island home of the balanced elements...
...yet wherever he was, Spirit would be with him.
Steadily, time moved on, oblivious to one meditating Ika'san'ri.
Tying the ship to the pier, Maniodoran checks the time. "We are quite ahead of schedule. Why don't you two go enjoy the city and I'll stick around with the ship."
Though his offer is sincere, Retpada will have nothing to do with it. He hands the captain two whistles and proceeds to his on-deck chair. With one nod, Retpada conveys all of the pleasantries that are associated with I'll man the ship. You two need the break. If anything bad happens, you feel free to blow that specially tuned whistle and I will find you immediately. No, no bother at all. Now skedaddle you two. Maniodoran returns the nod and a thank you, hands one of the whistles to Scisi who is now very much clothed, and proceeds to lower the plank to the pier.
Maniodoran leaves the ship behind, heading into town, looking for someplace to quench the gambling spirit inside of him. Scisi on the other hand, knows how to have a good time. She makes her way to the pub to have a few drinks. With a body like hers, there was no need to buy alcohol. With the sun setting on that first night, the two walk silently away from each other.
IC: Zzz... Zzz... I here some one enter he room. My inscitcs where telling me to grab my sword and kill them. My mind on the other hand seemed a bit more relaxed. These people don't know not to sneack up on a soldier. With my eyes still shut I began to talk. "It's not a good idea to enter the room of a sleeping soldeir with out knoking. I could kill you by mistake you know."
I sit up and look at who it was. It was the girl from before. "And you woke me for what purpose?"
Gat gave The solder an cold stare, if the solder knew Gat, he would be afraid, very afraid, "Its been two hours, if you sleep too much, you won't be able to sleep at night." She said crossing her arms, "Besides, Darek wants to speak to you..." She said getting out of the way, so X-78 could go past her.
Breze was nice on bote. Foud was not great. I preffer the choclate squid at home. Our tea is better as wel. But I must tri human foud.
This citie is big. I will find lodgieng and studie. I have heard of a carnaval near bie. I will go to it and studie it for posteritie.
I hop my spellieng is gettieng bettr.
-Dobok the Soulsearcher Initiate, Novice Caravaneer, son of Yujio the Daring, and Ika'san'ri pup -- Dated the Elevinth of Dragnmonth
Smiling contentedly, the Ika'san'ri Soulsearcher slash caravaneer slipped his book into his bag.
A shame we have not invented our own written language. I must continue my mastery of the human Common trade tongue, for certain. Perhaps then we, as a race, can improve on it. Surely we have the ability to do so.
Dobok glanced around the port and sniffed with his keen snout.
We could probably improve on this, as well.
It was beautiful and ugly to an Ika'san'ri. The Ika'san'ri's appreciation of anything new or different forced Dobok to admire the basic grand scale of the city, and the mixed smells that the humans could not possibly sense were strange and wonderful. But the place was cramped. Oh so cramped. Though his island was only slightly larger than the entirity of the city, if these creatures only had the ability to survove underwater as well, they would have so much more room.... and they reproduce so fast! Astonishing...
Shaking his head, the Ika'san'ri monk got to his feet and strode to the nearest tavern, the largest one in the city. Inside, he saw a group of people gambling furiously, while a beautiful woman off to the side was being furiously wooed by a number of men. It looked like she was more interested in the drinks than anything else, however.
All the men except for one, a greasy looking fellow, kept taking glances at her, but that one who ignored her still payed attention to the attractive barmaids...
They must know each other, then, mused the blue pup. Or else he'd be leering at her too. She must serve as a good distraction! Huh!
Yet again, the Ika'san'ris astounding intelligence and empathy pull through, despite his lack of spelling ability. Smiling to himself, he sat down at the single empty space on the table, recently vacated.
A new experience! Perhaps I can make some friends.
"How do you play this game?" he asked, in accented Common tongue. There were few that did not recognize an Ika'san'ri, and most covered small smiles as he sat down. Gambling with one of THESE would be fun.
Kriss pulled out his pocket watch and glanced at the time. They were a little early, but that was the nature of Kriss. Still he felt danger, a sense of death crawling up his back. Slowly he paced back and forth, he grew restless. . . . he grew angry.
IC: I watched the girl punch a hole in a wall. In my training I must of forgoten the female mood swings. Prehaps I should apoligise. "..." No not needed.
Gat grumbled as She led The inconsiderate solder to the desinated room. "In there she said, slowly pointing into a room behind a steel door, that had bolts to completely lock some body out, or in...
