What would you call lionizing Confederate officers? Assuming the history we were taught growing up is remotely accurate America was split three ways during the revolution roughly equally. The ones who wanted independence, the ones who wanted to stay with England and the ones who at least publicly just didn't want it happening on their land. Yet to my knowledge there are no statues to the brave soldiers who died defending the crown.
