The Iranian protesters should have learned from: Trump’s betrayal of Ukraine; Trump’s betrayal of Maria Machado and the Venezuelan resistance; Trump’s betrayal of Canada; Trump’s betrayal of NATO, and Trump’s betrayal of freedom, democracy, the constitution, human decency, etc, etc, etc.



Trump has actually exacerbated the killing, etc, with his hollow promises and outright betrayals: Protesters, etc, become more emboldened as they feel they have the support of Trump (and America), and they take greater risks and sacrifice more in their efforts to secure freedom & democracy- and then Trump betrays them.
