Now this is interesting. No surprise, Florida politicos are sticking with Trump.
Perhaps surprising is Rubio's continued devotion to Trump, whom he'd criticized sharply during his own unsuccessful campaign for the Republican nomination. He also criticized Trump's vulgar comments within hours of the bombshell story breaking.
"Donald's comments were vulgar, egregious and impossible to justify," Rubio tweeted. "No one should ever talk about any woman in those terms, even in private."
Rubio, however, has declined to withdraw his support, a decision that his Democratic opponent in his re-election battle criticized. "He's trying to become the leader of the free world despite these comments, and Marco Rubio is standing by his side," Florida Democratic U.S. Rep. Patrick Murphy said Monday.

Florida has no shortage of low-educated, low-information, not particularly religious rednecks, and folks like JBJ.
It also has a large Cuban, Columbian and Central American communities, which don't particularly like or give a shit about Mexicans.
Then there are notable communities of immigrants from the Islamic world, as well as sizable black communities and retirees from NYC, New England and the Upper Mid-West.
Rubio is up for re-election, but it would take a minor miracle for (D) Murphy to unseat the incumbent. On the other hand, the DNC is now willing to put up a big chunk of change to paint Rubio as a Trumpetteer in the hopes of alienating enough of his base to upset the down-ballot votes, including the Senate race, but more likely the Congressional races.
I'm guessing Florida will stay solidly pink, though the Hilda-beast has a decent shot of getting the 29 Electoral College votes available.
