Incorrect. We have the resources and ability to win it. The question is whether we hve the right strategy to do so and the will to stay the course.Whatever his reason was for attacking Iran, he's walked into a war the US has no hope of winning
Ridiculous. Iran is Russia's (and China's) ally. They trade together. Iran is essential to keeping Russia's machine operating. You're alleging that he started a war with Russia's best ally in the region to help Russia.the only valid motive I can see is that he has instructions to help Putin's finances so Putin can cntinue fighting Ukraine.
Quite the opposite. His actions are designed to strengthen our position by taking out hostile rulers and breaking those countries' alliances with Russia and China, while destroying their ability to pose a nuclear threat to us and to the world. If you look at all Trump's actions, they are designed to weaken the US strategically and to assist Putin to the greatest extent he can get away with without making it even more overt and open than he is.
And a peace plan, which Russia rejected. Trump is trying to end the war. You may not like his plan, but that is what he is attempting to do. His method, which again you may or may not agree with but has seemed to work in other situations, is to take one country's demands, present them to the other, and vice versa, to try and see if they can find some mutually acceptable arrangement.Trump has offered nothing except active hostility and insults towards Zeensky and Ukraine.
And whatever your views on arming Ukraine, we should stop paying for their pensions and their bureaucracy. Military aid is a separate issue. Stop handing them blank checks.
