Someone took their mockery of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump to great heights — literally — on Friday.

As SB Nation reported, an unidentified party paid for skywriters to put up messages ripping the real estate mogul during the Rose Bowl parade in Pasadena, California.

The messages included taunts like, “Putin eats Trump for breakfast;” “Trump loves to hate;” “America is great. Trump is disgusting,” and “Anybody but Trump, among others.

Observers captured the displays on Twitter, as seen below, while also speculating that they were intended to reach any Iowans in the crowd in advance of the state’s upcoming caucus.

Al-Qaeda affiliate group uses Trump’s anti-Muslim rant in recruitment video: report

A Somalian terrorist group affiliated with al-Qaeda is using footage of Donald Trump in a new recruitment video, CBS News reported.

The 51-minute video, posted online by al-Shabab on Friday, reportedly shows footage of Trump supporting “a total and complete shutdown” on immigration into the US by Muslims.

The clip is bookended by remarks from Anwar al-Awlaki, an al-Qaeda official who was killed in Yemen during a US airstrike in 2011, saying that the US would become “a land of religious discrimination and concentration camps” and that “the West will eventually turn against its Muslim citizens.”

The video also cites the fatal shootings of Michael Brown in Missouri and Walter Scott in South Carolina at the hands of police to argue that young black Americans should convert to Islam. It was originally posted via Telegram, an encrypted messaging app, and distributed via Twitter before being posted by SITE Intelligence Group, a private company that tracks Islamic terror groups and white supremacist organizations.

During a speech at CPAC, Walker insinuated that his fight with the state labor unions had prepared him to deal with terrorist organizations like ISIL/Daesh.


The latest dust-up came during a question-and-answer segment after Walker’s speech Thursday in front of thousands of conservative activists from across the country.

Asked how he would handle the Islamic State as commander-in-chief, he offered his experience standing up to 100,000 demonstrators during the 2011 protests over his collective bargaining law.

“If I can take on 100,000 protesters, I can do the same across the world,” Walker said.

He later clarified his remarks to say he wasn’t trying to draw a parallel, but rather explain how he could handle difficult situations.

He's exceedingly competent at the following based on observable data:

Filing for bankruptcy

Outsourcing the labor for his manufactured goods to China and Mexico

Hiring guest workers for his resorts instead of American citizens who are looking for work.

Turning the money his father gave him into less than he would have made had he invested t in index funds.
