Trump says he will label violence on Tesla dealerships as domestic terrorism.

Well, you're not thinking rationally. First, you need to specify what violence occurred against the police, given that there were zero firearms except the ones by FBI assets and said police. One person was killed, a former U.S. Marine who was unarmed but shot by the police. And last I heard, many people involved that day DID get in trouble and went to prison.
Let's look at the definition of terrorism: "The use of violence or the threat of violence, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political goals". Is there violence or the threat? Yes. Against citizens? Yes. In the pursuit of political goals? Yes. So these actions - no matter if you are pro or anti Trump/Right/MAGA etc. meet the definition of terrorism. Of course, for a court the act has to meet the LEGAL definition, which is another question.

What I find interesting is that you just didn't hear about any of this the entire time Biden was in office - I say "was in office" not "was POTUS" because Biden was never POTUS except in name. We all know this, now, so any talk of "unelected" people doing govt work (never mind every POTUS appoints many people into positions of great decision-making authority) is silly. I think what anyone should understand, no matter what their political perspective is, is that when you make excuses for what you know is bad behavior, when you enact policies or make statements that have zero validity, not even face validity, you do your side zero favors. The best thing the left could do is condemn this activity. This is not sending anyone to the left, but it is sending many to the right. And the victims? Tesla owners, etc.? Probably Democrats! Musk was the Left's Golden Boy not long ago - you know...e-vehicles? Climate crisis? Oil bad?

Most people see excusing bad behavior for exactly what it is. I don't recall people excusing Jan 6th, I do recall people mocking the idea of an "unarmed insurrection" and rightly so. I have a political perspective but I can put that aside and judge any behavior on it's merits. Calling out bad behavior only makes one look rational. You can dislike a person and you can dislike their policy but when the criticisms are silly on the face of things? You're going to get called out. When you repeat the bullshit you hear on state-sponsored media, one just has the appearance of a non-thinking NPC. The best thing either side can do is call out their own bad behavior. Each side has a fringe sub-group of crazies and to stupidly support that fringe? Just makes the entire side look bad. Just like calling Musk or Trump "stupid". Really? You'd better come with some pretty good credentials to use that term unironically. Too many people try and make the other side look stupid by sounding stupid. That's stupid. Don't be stupid.
