Trump mocks child protester at chaotic NM rally


One, a young boy who appeared to elementary school age, was taunted by Trump who said, “How old is this kid? He’s still wearing diapers.” Others were mocked and told to “get out” and “go home to mommy.”

Michael Morell ripped Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump for his lack of experience and relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin, as he endorsed Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton in a New York Times op-ed Friday.

Morell held leadership roles at the CIA for over three years, serving as the agency’s acting director on two occasions during Clinton’s tenure as secretary of state. He lauded Clinton in the opinion piece for being “prepared, detail-oriented, thoughtful, inquisitive and willing to change her mind if presented with a compelling argument” during their shared time in the Situation Room.

Trump, on the other hand, exudes traits that “suggest he would be a poor, even dangerous, commander in chief,” Morell wrote.

These traits include his obvious need for self-aggrandizement, his overreaction to perceived slights, his tendency to make decisions based on intuition, his refusal to change his views based on new information, his routine carelessness with the facts, his unwillingness to listen to others and his lack of respect for the rule of law.

The dangers that flow from Mr. Trump’s character are not just risks that would emerge if he became president. It is already damaging our national security.

Putin preyed on Trump’s “vulnerabilities,” currying the businessman’s favor simply by complimenting him, Morell said. Trump’s adoration of Putin, a leader with a reckless and dangerous track record, makes him “an unwitting agent of the Russian Federation,” Morell added.

Donald Trump's spokeswoman leveled false accusations against President Obama on Saturday, saying he started the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan.

When asked on CNN about Trump saying Obama was the "founder" of Islamic State, spokeswoman Katrina Pierson delivered a lengthy response in which she proclaimed it was Obama who "went into Afghanistan," where U.S. troops had begun fighting in 2001 under former President George W. Bush.

"Remember, we weren’t even in Afghanistan by this time," she said of Obama taking office in 2009. "Barack Obama went into Afghanistan creating another problem."

The visibly surprised CNN anchor pressed Pierson to confirm that she was saying that Obama took the country into Afghanistan.

"What I'm saying is the policies of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton — that was Obama’s war, yes,” Pierson said.

The Trump campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Pierson cited audio problems.

When Trump recently battled publicly with Khizr Khan, whose son was killed by a car bomb in 2004 while serving in Iraq, Pierson blamed Obama for the death of the fallen soldier. Humayun Khan was killed five years before Obama took office.
