Trumps America

I still can't grasp how on earth the Democratic Party couldn't come up with a far better candidate then Biden.

Even if they didn't win they would have made a showing and introduced, them to the public for the next Election.

Now, I will admit that the Republicans cup doesn't exactly overflow over with candidates either at lest none that could bet Trump this time around.

I would like to see some good Qualified members of both parties in the pipe line for the future.

Me too. I guess this is proof we don't really need a President. It's hard to believe this great nation could only come up with these two beauties.

I think you're wrong.

I think the Democrats have convinced themselves that Joe is the answer...

I have been saying that since the 70'and nothing changes. I have come to the conclusion that no intelligent person who values their self respect wants anything to do with being President. I have always voted third party since Nixxon but this time I am voting Biden just to get rid of trump. America is a train with no one at the wheel and no one in sight that can make a difference. Congress is so broken as to be almost irrelevant. They seem to only be able to make things worse.

From the outside looking in, I think Trump convinced the Democrats that Biden was the one to pick. All Trump did was seem to show how scared he was of running against Biden...just look back at all Trump's rhetoric on the subject....

Don't throw me in the briar patch. :)

1. Joe Kennedy is running for Congress in Mass. against the incumbent Democrat with Paleosi's backing and support. IF he wins, then in 4 years they're going to run him as a "new school" Presidential candidate. I'm not sure he'll win, his polling isn't that great considering his name and heritage.

2. R's have several "candidates in waiting". Crenshaw is a good pick but his war injury hurts his chances somewhat. Haley will likely run but she doesn't have the "in your face" courage to lead the US against the world. There are others, none of whom are "old guard".

3. Who knows, maybe someone with talent and courage will show up out of the blue again in 2024.

Well, Trump does have five children. and they're pretty well spaced out by age.

You guys do realize the Republican nominee in 2024 will either be Donald Trump himself or one of his kids, right? There's no such thing as democratic succession in a cult.

Lots of media based ideas

There is something tragically funny about all these ideas that are formed from twisted media biased reporting. If only people understood how brainwashing works and stepped away from letting their minds be twisted by the "mainstream" media.

If you do step back and take a fresh look one thing you will see is that the entire world is circling the drain. Even if Trump wins it will only slow down the global storm that is brewing. Just the pending global economic collapse in itself would tear down this house of cards. But, smoke some more dope and poke your head back in the dark inner chamber and relax.

There, there. Everything is gonna be ok. :)

Oh, I don't think so. I think Biden was the last one Trump wanted to run against. Among other things, he got himself impeached trying to head that off at the pass early on. That was a genuine effort. He didn't show that he was the least bit scared about a bid by anyone else, most certainly not by Sanders.

Yep. You've got Trump right where he wants to be. :)

I'm almost as impressed with Trump's America as I am with Boris's Britain. The moral I have taken from recent years is that we should only elect people with sensible hair.

That is what I said, the Democrats could see that Trump was genuinely afraid of running against Biden.

I think that sunk in after Biden actually lost the first couple primaries, and the party faithful realised they need to support Biden. Since Trump was salivating at the fact Biden was lagging...
