Trump's DUI Hire Texts War Plans to Journalist.

So it looks like Goldberg has the goods, though says he's no lawyer so can't state for certain whether or not the material is actually classified or merely sensitive (and we know team trump's gonna argue it's not classified even though they should only be sharing this kind of stuff via secure gov't channels provided for just such a purpose).

When asked if he'll share the "it's not classified material publicly given the pushback, he had this to say:

https://www.mediaite.com/tv/jeffrey...cials-deny-under-oath-that-it-was-classified/

Sincerely hoping he finds the right, safe, reliable hands to get this material to.

Army Lt. Gen. Christopher LaNeve appointed senior military assistant to Defense secretary

Is it a concern that he's a trump appointee? Maybe, but at least he appears to understand how the armed forces work beyond taking pretty pics.
This general has an absolutely impeccable record (combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, a tour as commanding general of the 82nd Airborne, and most recently commander of all forces in Korea). He's excelled at all levels of command. He's definitely qualified.

It seems a shame that he was forced at the height of his career to be little more than a nursemaid to a former Fox News weekend anchor. He was obviously being groomed for one of the Army's top three spots when this newly created position opened up. Perhaps a year from now he can replace the obviously incompetent Hegseth. I'd hate to see his career derailed by his association with Hegseth.

I think that would be illegal. Doesn't a SecDef have to be at least ten years out of uniform, to assure civilian control of the DOD?

Kind of makes you wonder how his head popped up to be tapped.

I know nothing about him but recall trump 45 was transactionally pissed the US gave lots of money to SK and for what.

In normal times, yes. Having said that, America entered a period of decline in January 2025, and now laws, regulations and even Constitutional amendments are considered 'advisory in nature', subject to the whims and toilet tweets of the current White House occupant.

The Rule of Law is over.
The Rule of Trump has begun.

More from the Signal group chat:

Vance: What is a Hoothi exactly?

Gabbard: Did President Putin authorize this discussion? I think I should leave.

Miller: Do we have confirmation that the Houthi aren’t white?

Hegseth: smakked that butt and squueezed hir melon tits hahaha what day is it??!

Waltz: Is everyone here? I feel like I forgot to invite someone.
