Everything I've read is that even if they are released we won't see them unless there is a trial and there probably won't be.

The IRS sees all the taxes
There is never a need for ANYONE to make their taxes or their medical records public. They are private matters. If there was something criminal in Trumps tax the IRS would have go after him since they are a strong arm of the liberal deep state swamp monsters.

Yes, there is. If you don't want to share your financials (to ensure you're not a crook and owned by someone, which Trump is, which is why he's hiding his taxes) or your medical history (whether you can physically handle the demands of the office are integral to whether you should be running for that office), don't run for president. Every other president has been forthcoming on these two issue. I'm sure other presidents have had their medical reports doctored, so Trump isn't alone in this--but he IS guilty of lying about his medical report.
He's hiding his taxes because they show reasons why he isn't fit to be president. For one, they reveal he isn't really rich--he's inflated his worth when going after loans and deflated it when it's tax time. He's a piss poor businessman. He quite probably owes more then he owns, so he's not really rich. He's a financial parasite, living off other people's money. Beyond that, his taxes will show criminality, both in the business deals he's down and with whom he's done them (showing, among other things, that he's blackmailed owned by the Russians) and that his tax dodging has gone into the illegal zone.
Who do you Trumpettes think you're fooling?

There is no legal requirement for a president...no matter how bad he is... to show tax returns.
That was started as an election ploy a few years back and caught on

The President, Vice President, Senior Leaders in Congress and the Supreme Court Justices are exceptions to the rule. Their financial record should be available for review as a matter of the trust required for their positions. No one has ever said their IRS files should be available to the general public. This is Congress and some State Attorneys that are seeking them for investigative purposes. There is NO valid reason to deny them access.
