Babble, babble, babble. Jessica was an endless chatterbox and so when Bella turned around out of instinct to look at the ‘their’ table, there they were. More to the point, there HE was, in all of his beauty. She could feel her heart race and the color rise up to her face. Jessica noticed Bella’s distraction immediately causing her to laugh and speak in her annoyingly happy voice “Oh, I see HE’s’ back.” Jessica cast Bella a curious look as Bella chewed on her lower lip. Lunch was now over, and it was time for her to go to Biology, where she wondered if he would be. She was certain he hadn’t been successful in getting his classes switched.

Getting up, she moved to dump her tray, having no other choice but to walk right by their table. Bella couldn’t help it, she stared point blank at Edward with a look of curiosity. With her tray disposed of , she turned and walked right by them again, this time not looking. Her heart was still racing in her chest, she didn’t understand it. He was just one simple person.

Jasper smirked, but before he could reply, Bella walked by them and he resumed his statue like stance. It wasn’t until she was up there dumping her tray that Jasper spoke in a strained voice.

“You know that is impossible.”

Jasper inhaled as he saw Bella coming back their way, her eyes fixed towards the door. He could hear her heart racing in her chest. It wasn’t until she was out the door that he exhaled and glared at Edward.

“We can handle danger”

Jasper leaned over and kissed Alice’s cheek before standing himself, pulling Alice with him. Letting go of her arm, he grabbed his tray as well as hers and gave one more look to Edward.

“Enjoy Biology”

Something like a smirk crossed his face and he moved off to dump his and Alice’s tray. Once they were out of the cafeteria, he looked down to her and grinned.

“Wanna make a bet he can’t stay away from her? Oh wait, how could I forget, it isn’t fair to bet with you. Although, we could always bet anyhow and we both know I would lose. I’d be at your mercy.”

A boyish grin crossed his face.

Alice looked back at Edward as she and Jasper left the lunchroom. His back was straight and stiff. She was worried about him. She wanted to go back but knew that interfering would hinder he and Bella’s progress. She and Jasper stopped outside of the cafeteria and she looked up at Jasper. He had a smirk on his face as he looked at Edward. He turned his head and looked down at her.

“Wanna make a bet he can’t stay away from her? Oh wait, how could I forget, it isn’t fair to bet with you. Although, we could always bet anyhow and we both know I would lose. I’d be at your mercy.”

Alice laughed at that. No one in the house would bet with her. They all said her visions gave her an unfair advantage. She put her index finger to her lip as if in thought.

“Hmmm…A bet huh? I haven’t been able to bet in a long time. Okay. What do you want if you win? If I win, I want three hours of alone time to do whatever I want with you.” Alice took a step back and looked Jasper up and down. She saw him shudder and smirked. “Yeah. Anything I want.” She looked up at him and smiled sweetly, cocking her head to the side. “Well? What do you want if you win?”

Seeing Jasper hold his breath as the wretched girl walked by, Rosalie laughed a sneer mocking laugh flipping her blonde hair over her shoulder watching as Jasper and Alice both made their way out of the cafeteria,she made her way to whatever classroom she could sit back and take in what was going on in the human world these days seeing she had nothing to do better without emmett by her side to please her.

Jasper grinned down at Alice while bringing up his index finger and tweaked her nose back and forth, making her seem even more like a pixie. All that was needed was for her to start shaking off pixie dust. Letting his hand drop, he watched the other students head off to class as he speaks.

“Oh, I don’t know. With what you win, I think I want to lose.”

Taking her hand into his, he moved her forward.

“Come on, we have class and you need to concentrate on the next hour to see if Edward kills Bella.”

Bella entered biology and saw her table empty. She was tore between disappointment and being relieved, but class hadn’t started yet and she was early. Mike entered in through the door so she quickly pretended to being going over some notes. She didn’t want to attract anymore attention from him then she had to. His obvious interest in her was unnerving. Why would anyone be attracted to her? It was just because she was a new face from a larger city. That must impress the locals here, because she certainly had been getting a lot of attention and that she didn’t like.

Bringing her hand up as she stared at the notebook before her, she twirled the soft strands between her delicate fingers as she every so often glanced towards the door to see if Edward was going to grace the Biology class with his presence. More like was he going to come sit next to her so she could grill him about how he had acted the last time they were in here together.

Edward Cullen cringed when he took his seat beside Bella. Whispering"I love you and nothing can change that, but love won't change the danger such love brings. and I care too much for you to knowingly or unknowingly put you in anymore danger than you already are" he pretended to pay attention to the teacher while waiting for a response.

Bella froze and the hair slipped from her fingers. Turning her full attention to him, she couldn’t help but to stare at him in wonder. His eyes were now golden, not the black that they been. Her brows knitted in confusion and she whispered back.

“You've been gone for days. Am I supposed to have a clue what you’re talking about?”

He loved her? That sent a rush of excitement through her body. It was as though his words were tugging on her heart strings as it pumped rapidly against them, swelling with the unexpected joy she felt. How could he love her? He didn’t even know her. How could she love him? Again, she didn’t even know him. More than that, what was this danger he spoke of? Geez, she was so confused.
