Everything about this administration is wrong in both practice and intention. Every single thing in Project 2025, which Trump disclaimed while running but appears to take as his only guide now, is a very bad thing for the country. Even Making America Great Again is not worth doing if it comes at the unjust expense of anybody else. Trump is a would-be despot, determined to overrun all legal, constitutional, institutional, and traditional restraints on presidential power. He has not anticipated that the next Democrat would wield the same expanded power -- if he is even allowing for the possibility. His effectiveness is limited because he only appoints incompetents and has to govern through them. We read of their spectacular blunders every day. America is a global laughingstock.
