Another night with a 30º low and daytime highs in the 40s.

Not too bad for a man-made January cold snap.
 
Is it bad that being back at work is more relaxing than all the holiday rush around? On top of the normal chaos I also did five nights with Operation Rednose, next year I think I will let the younger people handle that, it took more out of me than I expected. Happy 2024, here's too good things and strong coffee

Neil has nothing to worry about, I make mistakes on a daily basis, drink a cup of coffee and clean up the mess.
 
The preacher beat Hell out of half a dozen bullies in Pale Rider with "a nice piece of hickory," so here's supposing that they are made similarly and that they basically can be substituted one for another.


Happy Wednesday!!! A bit cool this morning, but it's that time of year. Another busy day getting going. The good doctor got another motorized chair yesterday. This one "ejects." She can get out of it on her own. She has an MRI on Friday.

I leave the house a few minutes before 0530 and get home a few minutes before 2000. I go to tend to Dr. Tyler's morning needs and rituals, go to work out of town, come back to town and back to the doctor's for her supper and evening rituals, and then I come home. This is the new schedule until we can get her back sorted out. Her spirits are decent. I'm just hopeful that they can get a solution in a timely manner.


Work is showing signs of picking back up. I had weasels today and get more tomorrow.


Fuck it, I'm having chips-n-dip for supper.
