Happy Saturday!!! Slept okay, but there could have been a bit more of it. Girlcat is being very much in my face this morning. Weather looks decent for today - rather Springlike. May get in a bit of HfD just because I can. Girlcat just went back on the floor, V4.0.


Went out for a bit last night to see the Friday gang. Well, one friend in particular. We got in a decent visit. The village idiot was there, too, dumb as always. And he always has to run his mouth. He should consider it a blessing from Allah that no one pushed him down the stairs.

Celebrating St. Patrick's day because I'm neither Catholic or Irish. I don't have any corned beef or cabbage though, so sauerkraut and sausage will have to do.

Everyone's a bit Irish on St Paddy's day. Once, my genetic ancestry had me being a percent Irish or so. I figured it was from one of my female viking ancestors out raping and pillaging in Ireland with the rest of the boat crew.

I do like my 4-stroke Doo's because they are quiet.
 
Yeah, but there's no one there. The most dangerous thing Wat encounters as he rides about is Millennial Women Texting. Or on the phone. They'll drive right up yer ass and that's nerve-wracking on one's HfD. They dent a fender, Wat loses a leg. For them, there are loud pipes.


I did stop in and the wrench's yesterday. Told him we still want to do it but we're going to be behind this year.

I need to nail my cruiser wrench down to see if he can do a few things I want done before summer. It's not that I can't do them, it's just that he's handier with it and has all the tools, so it gets done quickly.

Happy Monday!!! Kinda rested after the weekend. The ones where a bit more gets done lead to a better sense of accomplishment. It's turning cooler this week after a warm last week. Spring will be along at 2306 EDT tomorrow night, but it's still feel a bit more like earlier in the month. No matter, as we'll be cussin' heat soon enough.

Home. Made a salad. Ate half of it, so I reckon the other half gets et tomorrow. Work got done today. There was the old "truck broke down" doggerel from the plumber, but I should see them on Wednesday. We have some planning to do for the ADA conversions.


We got a surprise day off on the 29th. Good Friday from our secular company. So Wat might take a ride up to the farm because he can.

Happy Tuesday!!! Slept okay. Ordered some books over the last few days and the first couple came in yesterday. There does seem to be an inspection conflict with the Good Friday thing, but if that's the case, Wat may be able to swap it out for Monday and still sneak in a quick visit. The old horse may be lonely.

My theory is that a Senator from TN gave Roosevelt his support for the project as long as dollars poured into TN.
 
I've been wondering about the phenomenon of the Overly Polite Driver. You know the kind, the one who at the intersection and having the right of way, nevertheless waves at you to go first/in front of them. I've always wondered, what if they change their mind, move, and then hit me, and I'm going to look at fault. What if they move because their brakes lose pressure and the car moves? Any reason is good enough - they move, I get hit, and I'm wrong. "But osspifer, she waved at me to go on." I bet that shit don't hold up in court, and I bet the gecko would cancel me for having too many st000pids in my head.


I'm coming up to an intersection one summer day - the windows were down. I'm turning left and have the turn signal on. The oncoming asshole stopped outright and motioned for me to turn left in front of him, which I declined to do. Like I trust him. Fuck him, you want to be polite, you have the right of way. Use it and allow other traffic to proceed - politely and like you have good sense. We know better. After a few seconds of this, he proceeds and hangs out his window to cuss me for not turning left in front of his momentarily stopped ass, thereby showing how his momma really brought him up. Cunt. I told him to die soon.


I have even put the car in reverse when safe and backed up out of an intersection so the "polite" buff00n would piss off and move along. Use. Your. Fucking. Right. Of. Way. Allah damn it.


And don't even stop for me to walk in front of you. I don't know you, I don't trust you, I don't trust your car. I'm not betting my 200# ass against your 4000# vehicle. Never gonna happen. Be polite, move along, and allow me to walk without fear of Teh St000pids. For the love of Allah . . . . :rolleyes:
