How did you manage the lighting? It is low and yet the photos are very clear and detailed.
When we use flash we get those ugly splashes of white and when we don't we end up with too dark photos

Basically NO lights at all. Just the candel in fact, though it really didn't "cum" into play except for allowing us to see in the dark. Then set the camera for no red-eye is all. And away we went! ")
