Tony watched her as she stood in the queue, completely immersed in a book and seemingly oblivious to everyone around her … yet she stepped forward every time the people before her moved. Coming to the front of the counter, Tony had her favourite waiting for her: Chai Tea Latte with extra cinnamon.

That one moment, where she would look at him with those brilliant blue eyes of hers, made his day without fail. Her dark hair had a glossy quality to it and spiralled around her features to just below her shoulders when she wore it loose, but today they were neatly tucked atop her head with two Chinese chopsticks.

“Thank you Tony,” she said, giving him a warm and appreciative smile.
“Pleasure Angelica,” he replied, handing her the Latte.

She placed the exact amount of coins in his hand and took a sip of the Latte, a soft smile adorning her lips. There was simply no better way to chase the cold away than with something sweetly spicy. Taking a seat at a deserted table, Angelica placed her book before her and tried to concentrate on the words … the nagging feeling in the back of her mind refusing to subside.

For the last three days, she had the unerring feeling that someone was watching her. Even now, the feeling was almost palpable in the air, making the little hairs on the back of her neck stand on end. Surreptitiously, she looked across her left shoulder, scanning the park across from the coffee shop for anything out of the ordinary, and finding nothing.

Shaking her head slightly, she tried to shuck the idea from her mind. It was absurd. Very few people ever noticed her, or at least, that was what she thought.

Half an hour later, Angelica pushed herself up from her seat and walked through the door, stepping onto the pavement. “See you tomorrow, Tony,” she said waving goodbye to him as she made her way through the afternoon crush to her lecture on English literature. She felt comfortable among words and could quite easily lose herself between the pages of a novel or a great literary masterpiece.

Professor Duncan was an absolute gem in his field, attentive to detail and quite enthralled in keeping his students occupied. It was very rare to find an individual who was so passionate about what he did. To him, the English language was a vocation and he pushed his students to the absolute limit, demanding only their best. By the end of the lecture, Angelica was silently swearing at him though. He wanted a 3,000-word essay on Shakespeare’s Macbeth that accurately explains the tragedy and innuendo of the story by tomorrow morning.

She sometimes wondered if he was aware that they attended more classes than just his. From the few expressions around her, she could surmise that the rest of the class wondered the same thing. The prospect of spending another sleepless evening slaving away at her writing table seemed inevitable.

Making her way home, Angelica was engrossed in her own thoughts and completely oblivious of a man who seemed to have appeared out of nowhere. She walked straight into him, sending her bag tumbling to the ground, the contents sprawling across the concrete slab of the pavement.

“I am so sorry,” she said looking down at her books. Little notes went fluttering in the wind and she could see an A4 sheet of paper landing in a puddle of water. Groaning, she lunged for it, trying to prevent as much damage as possible. She couldn’t afford having to rewrite the entire piece of work again.

Straightening, she shook the piece of paper, trying to rid it of as much excess water as she could … only realising then that she had not heard anything or even looked at the person she had bumped into. Blushing furiously, Angelica hazarded a look at him.

“Pardon me. That was exceedingly rude of me. My name is Angelica, are you alright?” she asked, trying to help by dusting his jacket off.

Cortenin had been tracking her for years now. It had been arduous and painstaking. Each time he got close to her, she vanished again. He had nothing by which to reliably scry for her. He didn't know her name, or what she looked like.

Things got much easier recently when one of his contemporaries found her mother. He subsequent death allow Cortenin to fashion a wand that allowed him to track her.

That was six months ago, he had started in Florida and traveled across the US hitchhiking, walking and when time and cover allowed he flew. Flight was tricky, the first time he flew two large metallic birds accosted him. He later learned they we F-16 airplanes, but learned an invaluable lesson. Invisibility was a must if one flew.

Now he was in Los Angeles near the campus of UCLA and the wand paying off. She had dark hair and vibrant blue eyes which were glazed over enough that he knew that she was some where else. He simple stepped into her path and waited. Predictably, she ran straight into him, her bag crashed onto the concrete contents flying in every direction. Muttering an apology she dove after some paper that settled in a small puddle of water, overflow from a sprinkler system.

She came back after saving the paper stammering, “Pardon me. That was exceedingly rude of me. My name is Angelica, are you alright?” As her hands descended onto his chest to brush him off, Cortenin allow a minimal elcetrical discharge to go off, much like the tingle of a 9 volt battery. Angelica's eyes widened slightly and a small gasp sounded as her breath caught momentarily.

"Hey, look, I am so very sorry. I was day dreaming about home, and wasn't paying attention." A concerned look crossed his face, are you okay? Did you save the paper?"

The look on her face indicated that perhaps not, but would need to see after it dried. "Look I am so sorry, maybe I can make it up to you over dinner. What do you say, tonight?"

The moment she touched him a shock of electricity coursed through her body. It felt like static electricity and instantly had all her attention focussed on him. She immediately dropped her hands to her side and took a slight step back, a gorgeous blush spreading across her cheeks. She was a complete klutz at the best of times. Somehow she was not very surprised that she was making a complete fool of herself with someone as hunky and attractive as this stranger.

Angelica was so caught up in what he was saying … or more precisely, staring at his lips that what he asked only sunk in once he spoke of her paper. Angelica’s eyes darted to the sugar white paper that was wilting in her hands. The ink was runny and smearing across the paper and she groaned. “Damnit,” she said under her breath. “No, it will appear I was too late,” she said, raising it so he could see the mess.

“It’s alright though, I’ll make a plan,” she tried to put his mind at ease while she grimaced at herself. With Professor Duncan’s assignment due tomorrow morning she definitely did not have time to re-do the work.

"Look I am so sorry, maybe I can make it up to you over dinner. What do you say, tonight?"

Oh great! The one night she actually needed to work and Mr Perfect decides to ask her out on a date, Angelica thought to herself.

“I would really love to,” she said, giving him an apologetic smile, “but I need to finish an assignment this evening.” Her eyes darted up to his, trying to gauge his reaction to that. “I’m fr-free tomorrow night though?” she stammered, wanting to kick herself for sounding like a desperate idiot. “That is ... if the offer still stands?” Angelica added quickly, her blush deepening.

Cortenin brushed his shaggy blond hair back, considering a moment. His caramel eyes looked off into the distance as he slowly nodded his head. "Yeah, I think tomorrow night will work."

"Tell you what, how about I walk you home, so I know where I am picking you up tomorrow night?"

~*~*~*~*~

The islands to the south used to have a different name, now they were known as the shattered islands. The name stuck after the mage war. Two mages fought over the islands and the control of the Lake of Teeth, so named for the many rocks that rise from the bottom to very close to the surface of the lake. Nearly unnavigable, the lake has lanes each of the lanes protected by islands. It was over these islands that the two mages waged war.

In the course of their war, they completely rent the islands making them virtually unusable by anyone but pirates, which now controlled the enormous lake and its lanes. It was these islands that held a secret that Chiron had stumbled across in his days as a young apprentice.

In those days, the City of Order, was more of a free wheeling town, not organized not growing but wallowing in its own decay. Chiron found on one of the islands a mighty gate, a rip in the fabric of their world that lead to other places, or times. It was through this gate that the young princess was taken when Chiron overthrew the monarchy that had been the caretakers of the City of Order since the mage that ruled it formerly died.

It was through this gate that he had sent an army of wizards after the princess, all had returned with no indication that the princess was alive or where they went.

Except one.

His offer seemed sincere and then she smiled, realising that she didn’t know his name. Placing all her books back in her bag, she slung it over her shoulder and stood for a moment considering his offer.

“If you are up for a walk, I won’t mind,” she smiled at him. “A bit of company never did any harm,” she said as she started walking away from the campus, Cortenin easily keeping stride next to her.

He was surprisingly easy to talk to, albeit them staying on arbitrary topics of discussion such as the weather. He gently quizzed her about her studies in English literature from UCLA and her family. Angelica loved both her parents very much, even though she was adopted and she told Cortenin as much. She did not really know much about her biological parents. Every attempt at trying to find them had led to a dead end and Angelica figured that if she was meant to find them, she would have by now.

Shrugging it off, she crossed the street and stepped onto the pavement before her apartment block. “This is me,” she said, clasping her hands together in front of her. She was living in a little two-bedroom apartment that was generous by student standards. The prospect of finding a roommate to share the costs has been on the agenda for a while and thus far said roommate has been eluding her.

Cortenin did not offer much information about himself, but the comfortable way in which their discussion smoothed from one topic into the next managed to conceal the fact quite surreptitiously.

“Can I offer you a cup of coffee?” Angelica asked, a soft smile resting on her lips. It was the least she could do.

Cortenin smiled at her offer of coffee, nodding he said, "Sure, but only of you call me Cort. That is what my friends call me, back home."

He followed her into the building and up to the second story, admiring her assets along the way. Thinking to himself that if a princess had a stereotypical look, Angelica certainly had it. His hair matted to his eyes from the heat outside, his hand came back damp as he pushed it off his forehead.

The clothes he wore were typical for earth, blue jeans, a shirt, tennis shoes, all of which he had purchased in Florida. His contact in Florida had provided him with a little money, a passport, for Cort did not know how to drive, a cell phone (because everyone has one) and a phone number to call once Cort settled into an area.

His introduction to America included some training on the basics, how to work a cell phone, a light switch, a bath tub, toilet, etc. A reserved man by nature, all mages are it seemed, Cort always with held his true reaction to events around him, instead processing, analyzing and then reacting.

Except for when flirting. He was naturally able to make any woman feel like she was the center of the multiverse, and he now plied that on Angelica. For an hour, they chatted, flirted, and got to know each other a little more. Details of his life revolved around the little he knew about Florida, and avoided the subjects he didn't know enough about to discuss.

By the end of the hour, they were sitting hand in hand, shoulder to shoulder, as if they had known each other for years. A feathery kiss on her upper ear lobe, Cort whispered, "I better go, otherwise..."

Standing up and clearing his throat, Cort tried to modestly hide his arousal at her touch and feel, "What time are you free tomorrow?" His voice was soft, carrying an undercurrent of need.

Angelica smiled back at him. “Okay Cort, if you call me Angie then,” she winked before making her way up to the apartment. It was a humid and hot day, and she turned the aircon on the moment they stepped into the lounge.

The apartment was sparsely furnished with whatever pieces of furniture her parents could spare. Nothing matched, which gave the place a contemporary feel. The walls were decorated with big abstract pieces of art that she had painted herself in rich auburn and yellow colours. Angelica had draped some of her scarves across odd tables here and there and she enjoyed sitting by candlelight sipping a glass of wine, engrossed in some literary masterpiece that could inspire her imagination, which explained the piles of books scattered throughout the apartment.

Quickly disappearing into the spare bedroom she placed her bag next to her writing desk, which was the only piece of furniture in the room, dwarfed by a mountain of junk that always seemed to find its way there. The rest of the apartment was painstakingly neat and tidy, bar the few books scattered about.

“Would you like some tea, coffee?” Me? She added silently before she walked into the kitchen and made them something to drink. Her hips were gently sashaying from side to side as she moved about in the kitchen humming to herself, slender hands fluttering across the kitchen diligently completing the task before taking a seat next to Cort and offering him his coffee.

There was something enigmatic about him that seemed to ebb from every pore of him. Cort had an unerring knack for making her blush that generally coincided with a spike in her pulse rate. They spoke and talked as if they had known each other for years and when he finally pressed a soft kiss to her ear … his breath playing across the tender flesh … a sheen of gooseflesh erupted on her skin

"I better go, otherwise..." he said as he stood from his seat, letting her hand slip from his. "What time are you free tomorrow?" He asked, his voice ladened with desire, trying to hide the telltale bulge in his pants. Angelica had to fight the urge to smile triumphantly at the knowledge that he felt it too.

The whole day! She wanted to scream but tried to contain herself. “Shall we make it for around six tomorrow evening?” She asked instead.

Leaving a soft kiss on her cheek … lingering there for a moment before he left. Angelica stared at the door ... dumbstruck. No other member of the male gender had ever been able to evoke such a reaction from her. He was a complete gentleman to boot!

Needless to say, Macbeth paled in comparison for the remainder of the evening and Angelica had to fight to focus her concentration. Her dreams had a certain set of light brown eyes dancing in them the entire night. The next day of class seemed to drag. By 5’o’clock that evening, Angelica was ready and waiting, dressed in a strappy summer dress and sandals that were just high enough to accentuate her calves. Raven dark hair spiralled loosely around her shoulders, her ice blue eyes shimmering.

Cort headed to the hotel pondering the situation. His instructions had been vague. Keep her here in this world if he found her and don't let her die before she had a child. If she did have a child then continue to stay to monitor the child and her both.

Or if need be, Angelica was then expendable.

Bumping into had been an impromptu plan on his part. She was indeed lovely, and quite receptive to him if he judged things correctly. Especially that look of victory that flashed when she saw his cock was hard. But getting to know her was not a necessary component of the mission, in fact, one would argue, a hindrance to the satisfactory completion.

Calling his contact in Florida, Cort made arrangements to procure the documents necessary to go to school at UCLA, trying for a spring semester start. That would give him adequate time to study the area, familiarize himself with the customs, and immerse himself into studies prepping to go to school.

It would also give him time to strengthen the burgeoning relationship with Angelica.

A trip to the mall later, Cort had several outfits to wear and now that he knew where Angelica, as she was calling herself, lived, he knew that he had to pursue a place to live. I was low on the priority list, his contact giving him a contact in LA to do business with, selling items for large amounts of cash. He now had enough to live on for several years if he lived frugally.

If not, then several months.

Shrugging it off, Cort knew he would never hurt for money, if more was needed more would come. By now, Chiron had to know that he had found the princess. That thought amused him, as Cort knew that he was far from the favorite at the council of mages.

The night and next day passed quickly, Cort readied himself early and began the process of taking a taxi over to her apartment. This world's lack of magic was both useful and a problem. He couldn't merely teleport there, but then again, no one ever expected a magical answer for anything, if he choose to do something untoward. Doing something untoward would certainly jeopardize the mission, thus to be avoided.

Boring but practical. The life of a mage.

Arriving at her apartment slightly after 6:00, Cort knocked on the door, another thing that bothered him, having to wait for people to let him in, and waited for her to answer.

His annoyance at waiting was interrupted by the door swinging wide open, as if she had been waiting by the door the whole time. "ready? The taxi is waiting?" Seeing her nod excitedly he waited as she locked the door and got into the cab, "Houston's in Manhattan Beach please."

A relatively short drive later, they were two blocks from the beach, waiting to be sat, "Did you get your paper finished last night?"

In some ways, Angelica hated first dates. Acting all coy and trying to get to know someone from scratch was a little draining. Perhaps it was because she had tried it so many times, only to find that she had wasted her time. Sneaking a peek at Cort from under her lashes, she sincerely hoped it was not the case this time.

Arriving at Houston’s, an elated smile rested on her lips. Not only was it one of her favourite restaurants, but it had that whole West Coast look and feel down to an art. The sea breeze carried from the ocean that made her want to kick off her shoes and go for a stroll on the beach, watching the sunset.

"Did you get your paper finished last night?"
“I did yes,” Angelica answered, trying hard not to think of those caramel eyes that distracted her, the same ones staring at her intently now. “I hope it is to Professor Duncan’s liking,” she added. “He is a bit of a perfectionist, but then again, I wouldn’t expect anything less.”

Their waiter appeared and directed them to one of the booths. “Thank you,” Angelica said as she made herself comfortable before looking back up into Cort’s eyes. “Thank you for bringing me, you really didn’t need to,” she said politely.

Menus were placed before them and Angelica scanned through it. Her parents had always taught her to find out what her host was eating first and then matching it more or less in price, to be polite. “What grabs your fancy?” she asked, placing the menu on the table and smiling at him. She had ordered a glass of dry red wine and was languidly sipping from it.

“Angie!” A voice boomed across the room, before a bear of a man nearly lifted her out of her seat for a hug. “How are you?” Donovan asked, his mischievous green eyes smiling into hers.
“I’m great thank you,” Angelica said, smiling from ear to ear.
“And who may this be?” Donovan asked, leaning across and offering Cort his hand in greeting. “You are going to make quite a few guys very jealous,” he added in jest.
“This is Cort, the man I nearly trampled across yesterday,” Angelica explained.
“Aaaah, another of Angie’s victims! Join the club,” he said in a boisterous voice as he gave Angelica a conspiratorial grin. She had managed to trip Donovan down a flight of stairs once.
“I’m not that bad,” she said, giving him a little swat across his shoulder.
“No, she’s worse,” he said, ducking a more powerful swing from Angelica. “Well, I will leave you fine folks to enjoy your dinner,” he said, placing Angelica back in her seat. Leaning across, he greeted Cort, before disappearing into the crowd as quickly as he had arrived.

Blushing furiously, Angelica smiled apologetically at Cort. “Donovan studies with me,” she said by way of introduction.

Cort watched as an enormous man came over, acting like was Angelica's friend days gone by. He loud and harmless. Watching in amusement as Donovan prattled on, Angie's face went through a series of emotive changes that bordered on the comical.

As she said, “Donovan studies with me,” Angie's face turned the color of a scarlet bird.

"It would seem to me, you are perhaps his favorite subject to study." He said it with a dead pan voice, a twinkle was present in his eye. Angie's blush deepened even more and she dropped her head slightly.

No apology was forthcoming, but he reached over, laid his hand atop hers and held it momentarily. As Angie's eyes worked their way back to his, the waitress returned, "Are you ready to order?"

Cort glanced at her then to Angie. "The lady would like to have the prime rib, I would like to have the porter house steak."

Cort smiled at the astonished look on Angie's face. "How did I know what you wanted?" She nodded silently and he continued, "It was simple, your eyes lingered on that area and you ordered a wine more suitable for the prime rib over the seafood and chicken that were in the same area."

As the waitress walked away with their order, Angelica could feel a soft shiver run down her body. She wasn’t too sure if it was because of the smile on his lips and the intent, almost teasing glint in his eyes, or because he had been watching her more closely than she had realised ... or because of his hand still resting on hers...

She broke eye contact and stared at his hand covering hers. Long, lean fingers that dwarfed her hand despite the fact.

“Thank you, the prime rib sounds perfect,” she said softly as her eyes lifted to meet his again. Her cheeks still felt warm. She had to fight down the insane urge to climb across the table and kiss him, her blush deepening as the very explicit thought played out in her mind.

Shifting uncomfortably, a nervous laugh bubbled to her lips as she pulled her hand away from his, clasping them together on her lap as her eyes slowly meandered back to his. “I think Donovan is right, you came off lightly. I somehow managed to trip him down a flight of stairs once,” she confessed, in a desperate attempt to hide her embarrassment.

The minutes flew past. Cort had a wicked sense of humour that made her laugh. He also had an uncanny ability to tease her until she felt hot from her cheeks glowing in different shades of pink. It was rare for Angie to feel as giddy as this.

By the time their food arrived, Angelica was relaxed and at ease. The prime rib was as appetising as it looked with every bite of the succulent cut melting in her mouth. “This is delicious,” she said as she took another bite, an appreciative “mmmhmmm,” humming on her lips as she chewed. Her second glass of wine was nearly done by the time she pushed her plate aside, the waitress instantly appearing at her side. “Please give my compliments to the chef,” Angelica said.

She took another sip of wine; surreptitiously stealing a glance at Cort he finished his food. “What brings you to the West Coast?” she asked. There was just something about him, that said that he was not from here.

Cort watched as Angelica ate her dinner and he, his. She ate as though she were a princess, small dainty, bites chewed thoroughly, her appetite was certainly a regal one as she cleared her plate. He entertained her through the dinner, flirting, teasing, cajoling a deeper and deeper blush from her.

Angelica's laughter, nervous and otherwise, rang across the restaurant. Donovan shoot a curious glance over on occasion and Cort smiled as if he were eating the canary, which he had every intention of doing.

“What brings you to the West Coast?” she asked, her eyes peering through her lashes.

Cort thought of the answer for a moment, then quickly decided a small truth was worthwhile. "I think you, Angie." He was immediately rewarded with a deep crimson blush that seemed to raise from her neck to her forehead.

Cort reached over, cupping her chin, raised her face until he could see her eyes. "I don't think I have ever been as comfortable with another person, as I am with you."

Cort almost laughed as he saw her sputter a moment or two. Laying down more than enough to cover the bill, Cort stood offering his hand to Angelica. "Come, let's walk along the beach."

"I don't think I have ever been as comfortable with another person, as I am with you."

Was it the way he looked at her or his hand touching her that had her absolutely captivated? She could suddenly understand the term ‘head over heels’ as the colour tinged her cheeks once more. Dropping her eyes, Angelica sputtered over her own words before she managed to softly say, “me too," soft laughter lingering in his eyes.

Covering their bill, Cort stood and offered his hand, “Come, let's walk along the beach."

She nodded before sliding out from her chair to join him at his side. “I would love to,” she said before they stepped out of Houston’s and into the glorious array of oranges and yellows from the setting sun. They walked the two blocks to the beach at their leisure and before they stepped onto the sand, Angelica unhooked her shoes and dangled them in her free hand.

She stood for a moment, just letting the sand slide across her toes, the waves breaking on the shore … seagulls squawking above. The dying light of the sun was glistening across the ocean, shimmering across the water to the horizon in a massive mirror reflecting the spectacular show of colour streaking across the horizon.

“It is beautiful,” she breathed, just staring.

“I love the ocean. There is just something about it that speaks to my soul … that calls me into its soothing depths,” she said, turning to look at Cort. “You know what I mean?” she asked as they started walking, her hips gently swaying as she moved next to his masculine form. Their hands were entwined, the sun glistening in his hair … his eyes smiling teasingly at her. He made her laugh, made her blush … made her want to do unspeakable things to him.

“I have always felt like I don’t belong … but here,” she said sweeping her hand across the sea, her shoes still dangling from her thumb, “I feel at home.”

Cort worked his arm around Angie, pulling her close against the chilled wind coming off the Pacific ocean. Nodding, "Yeah, I know how you feel. It's like sometimes the most common things, like light bulbs, are alien, completely out of sync with what I would expect."

Cort turned toward her, wrapping his other hand around her waist, interlinking his fingers on the small of her back. "But with you, it all..." His voice trailed off, taking a dream like quality softening the edge of yearning just held in check.

Suddenly his head lowered; his lips mere millimeters from hers. Hesitantly he closed that small gap. Her lips soft as an angel tasted like cherry as his tongue lit upon her bottom lip gently. His hands pulled her in tight, her body reacting, yielding, to his, molded into his body as her mouth opened.

Raging warriors stormed across open fields as his tongue plunged into her mouth; they and he alike, claiming that which they had no claim, no right, to possess. As peasants yielded, Angie's hips rolled into Cort, grinding against his turgid member.

Their kiss deepened, taking on an urgent need that consumed them both. His mass quivered between their stomachs as his hands clasped her ass, spreading her cheeks wide as he pulled her even tighter.

Walking, twirling stumbling they made their way back from the beach looking for a taxi between heart seeking kisses, tongues working their way deeper and deeper into each others mouth.

Angie could feel a tingle running up her spine the moment Cort placed his arm around her waist. His arms encircled her as he stepped around, pulling her right up against him. Her eyes snapped to his as she felt his aroused member pressing against her stomach. The realisation made her tummy flutter with excitement.

"But with you, it all..."

“…falls into place,” she completed his sentence in a whisper, as they slowly gravitated towards each other … earth and sky melding together at the horizon as their lips collided, setting something much bigger in motion. Angie’s arms snaked around his neck, her shoes forgotten at her feet as she tilted her head to the side, opening her mouth to let him inside.

Running a hand through his light hair, she leaned in close against him. Cort smoothed his hands lower down as he half lifted her off the ground and crushed her against the rugged contours of his body clamping in around her like a fortress. A soft moan escaped her lips as she felt him quiver with need against her, Angie’s own body answering with blistering desire moistening her depths.

They stumbled across the sand like two love-starved teenagers, unable to keep their hands off each other. Overwhelming need got the better of them as they stopped and surrendered to each other’s lips every now and again. Angie wanted to kiss him until she could not breathe anymore … he was intoxicating.

By the time they reached Cort’s hotel room, Angie felt like she had been set ablaze. They stood staring at each other just inside the door for the longest moment. The hazel depths of his eyes swirling with desire and need. Overwhelming lust and yearning mirrored in her own, tinting them to an alluring deep indigo.

There were no words to say. Nothing could possibly give justice to the feelings that were swarming inside Angie as she stepped into his arms. She had never needed anyone as much as she needed him right now.

Cort pressed her against the wall of his hotel room, gathering her hands in his left hand, pinning them above her head. His mouth sought hers out, demandingly thrusting his tongue deep into her throat.

His free hand he reached up, yanking the material sharply, the material gave way easily exposing her nearly perfect body to him. The swell of her breasts flattened as he pressed against her. His hard cock strained at his pants, trying to rip through and plunder her.

His hand wrapped around the hillock of her ass and spun her around, pressing her chest against the wall. Two tugs and his pants pooled at his feet, his hardness now pressed between the cheeks of Angie's ass. Grinding himself against the crevasse of her ass, his right hand fell, a gentle slap, causing her ass to jiggle slightly.

A moan escaped her immediately mixing with the gentle clap of his hand on her. A smile creased his face, "She likes it, eh?" he thought. His hand rose and fell again, slightly more sharply, the crack higher pitched.

His right hand wrapped around, pulling her hips and legs back from the wall, bending her slightly. Back to her ass, his hand rose and fell, a sharp crack, and a loud moan intermingle.

Rolling his hips, Cort's cock slid down her ass and across the slit of her pussy. Reaching down, he positioned himself at the entrance, and then with the sharpest slap of her ass yet, plowed his cock completely into Angie.

Angie’s breath caught in her chest as Cort pressed her against the wall, pinning her hands above her head. She absolutely loved it when a man took control like that, instantly sending her pulse rate racing in her veins. Licking her lips in anticipation, Angie’s eyes flitted to the curve of his mouth, longingly staring at them before lifting to his eyes. He held her gaze hostage, lust and desire burning in them. Purposely lowering his head, Cort ravaged her lips in an erotic kiss, exploring her.

In one smooth motion, Cort yanked her dress hard. The straps yielded to his demanding desire letting the soft material flutter down her body to puddle at her feet. She had not been wearing a bra and Cort’s experienced yank had severed the G-string from her body, leaving her standing completely naked and vulnerable before him. A sheen of gooseflesh erupted on Angie’s skin as the thrill and excitement exploded through her nervous system, her chest rising and falling in fast succession as her body worked to fuel the ferocious flame he was kindling.

Cort crushed her to the wall, her soft mounds surrendering against the hard contours of his body. His engorged member pressed against her in a maddening tease ... his lips devouring hers. A soft moan hummed against his lips as she felt her sex pulse in answer, hunger for this man burning in her veins.

Cort spun her around like a puppet in his hands and pushed her up against the wall. He moved, and the next instant she could feel him pressed against the crevice of her ass ... flesh on flesh. His breath played across her neck as he grinded himself against her. Without warning, he landed a slap on her ass and Angie moaned, her eyes fluttering shut ... god, she loved that.

Another slap joined the first with a little more force and Angie groaned, her sex glistening as testament to what he was doing to her. She felt like a wanton sex slave ... she would do anything to feel his hard cock buried deep inside her.

There was no doubt that Cort was quite an experienced lover. He knew exactly how to get what he wanted as he roughly pulled her hips away from the wall, arching her back and lining her up for the taking. Another slap was dispensed and the moan on her lips grew in volume as her entire being craved for him to ram himself in her, juices weeping from her aching sex down her inner-thigh.

She felt him move, his cock finding a home between her legs as he pressed it forward, the sleek head teasing across her sex in an erotic prelude. His hand intervened and with a deafening crack across her ass, Cort penetrated her in one mighty thrust. Angie gasped as she threw her head back, her body in shock and completely at the mercy of the incredible lust burning between them. No man has ever taken her so violently ... so precisely, her heart beating out a deafening staccato in her chest.

“Cort...” she breathed, unable to say more than that.

Cort's left hand and forearm wrapped into Angie's long black hair, pulling her back with each of his powerful thrusts into her. Her pussy was liquid fire, much like the blood of Arek, the fire god that allowed his blood to flow over the land back home, destroying all in its path.

His right hand continued it assault on her ripe ass, bringing it to a lovely pink, the heat radiating, adding its heat to the heat her pussy generated. Her quim flowed freely down her thighs, coating his balls and thighs.

With each thrust of his hips, each pull of her hair, Angie screamed out in pleasure, her voice echoing through the sparse room. He was amazed at her willingness, eager earnestness at sex. The way she reacted when he began controlling the situation fueled his own need to control.

Cort felt the pressure building in his loins, Angie's screams, sighs and moans of pleasure egging him on. Harder and faster, his cock hammered into her. "Play with my balls, Angie," Cort grunted. Her right hand reached down between her legs, and no sooner had she cupped his balls, he reached his climax, his seed exploding deep into her, coating her inside out.

Wrapping his hand in Angie’s hair, he held her captive against him. A barrage of powerful thrusts ensued as he manoeuvred her body like a tightly strung bow. Her body rocked, breasts wildly swaying with every slam of his body into her, hands splayed across the wall to push against every move he made. Soft moans fell from her lips with each maddening penetration filling her wholly … deeply.

His free hand warmed her derriere, the deeply erotic play sending liquid fire burning through her veins as her body twisted it into deep, velvety passion.

It was primal, fuelled by raw, unadulterated need, desire and lust. She felt wild, out of control and impulsive, never in her life having done anything as spontaneous as this. He was enigmatic … addictive … and god … a good fuck.

Another undulating moan escaped her lips as Cort asked her to play with his balls. One hand slipped down the wall and as she touched him, she could feel him contract in her hands, delicious pulses playing across her fingertips as he slammed into her hard and fast. A deep groan, almost a growl echoed from his lips as he claimed Angie, her own body succumbing to her need as her sex convulsed around him in an earth shattering release that made her cry out, he heart hammering in her chest as she gasped for air.

Cort took Angie's hand and led her to the bed on the far wall of the hotel room. Perspiration glistened off their bodies in the low light. His hand massaged the palm of her hand, which was damp. At the bed, he pulled her around to face him, his mouth clamping onto hers. His tongue firmly inserted into her mouth, he pulled at her ass cheeks, driving her hips back against his groin.

They fell onto the bed together, bouncing with a giggle commingling with their kiss. Cort pinched then lightly twisted Angie's nipple, eliciting a soft moan from her. "As we grow closer, I will show you things no man you know can show you."

Angie lay staring into Cort’s eyes. His words surprised her. Everything had happened so fast. She was almost certain that she would walk out of his apartment in the morning and never see him again.

She slowly smoothed her hand across his cheek, her fingers sliding into his hair as her thumb smoothed across his lips. “I would really like that,” she whispered, pressing a soft kiss to his chin before resting her head on his chest, letting her hair splay across him.

Angie’s eyes fluttered shut as she listened to his heartbeat. Rhythmic … strong.

Through the night, the warriors razed the village that they had come to sack, a pivotal stronghold for the rebellion, those few that were loyal to the old crown. The battle was not as fierce as any expected, in fact, the rebels at Tooth's Hound barely fought at all. It was as if they capitulated at the mere sight of the Chiron's hoarde had frightened them into submission.

A willing submission.

The commander of the armies from the City of Order smiled a victorious smile, his tonsils seemingly flailing about for all to see. His teeth stained and long, flashed dimly in the light of the fire of Tooth's Hound buildings. Each one aflame, the oily smoke rising in the still night. It would be a fire seen across the Lake of Teeth. Chiron and his advisors watching from the tower that rent the sky like a sword.

Later Chiron would wonder why the village fell so easily, it was well fortified, and there were nearly two hundred troops stationed within its thick walls, walls build from the red rock of the Blood Spires.

~*~*~*~*~

Angie's head rose and fell in time to Cort's chest, his breathing even now that the rush from their coupling had passed. Her breathing settled into a shallow rhythm, indicating that she was fast asleep. The crush of her breasts against his body was intoxicating, and he wondered if he would ever tire of the feel of her pressed against him.

Instinctively he knew the answer. Yes he would tire of her eventually, if she was not far more submissive. Though the paddling of her derrière did give cause to some hope, she liked to be spanked. Perhaps next time her should try restraints, or maybe a blindfold.

Contentment worked through him. He had accomplished his master's bidding with spectacular results. He had not only found her, but had met and managed to couple with her. The surprise in her eyes as he talked about showing her sights she could not imagine was evident. She had thought Cort would be a one off event.

He kissed the top of her head as he thought, "No, the last event."

~*~*~*~*~

The sun rose the next morning and Cort woke to find Angie still plastered against his body, her leg draped over his legs, arm across his chest. He began kissing her forehead lightly, while running his hand across her pert breast, toying with the nipple.

A light moan escaped her lips as Angie woke, Cort smiled at her, whispering, "Race you to the shower, loser cooks."

Angie dreamt of a war, a stark and barren land that was filled with torment and little mercy. The stricken expressions on their faces were haunting.

The image blurred and faded into the distance, replaced with soft kisses. Angie stirred as her eyes fluttered open, feeling a little disoriented. The moment Cort’s fingers touched her nipples, the memories came flashing back and she moaned, a soft smile adorning her lips.

"Race you to the shower, loser cooks."

She laughed. “If you know what is good for you, you’d let me win,” she teased, grabbing a pillow and flinging it at him as a distraction. In a flash, she was on her feet and running towards the door. The air moved a little faster around her, propelling her forward … Angie completely oblivious of it.

“Ha!” she said triumphantly. Turning the tap, an ice-cold beam of water soaked her and she squealed, her victory short lived. Hastily stepping aside her eyes found Cort’s, grinning at him sheepishly. “Now let’s see, for starters I’d like some fruit salad and for the main event … mmm … bacon, eggs, toast, sausage …” She knew she would probably not make it past the fruit salad, but the expression on his face was priceless.

The water was warming up as she stepped under it, pelting down on her … matting her dark hair to her shoulders as rivulets of water cascaded down her skin. “You…” she added, wrapping her arms around him and pressing a soft kiss to his lips, holding it there for a moment.

Cort readily admitted that the last item on the menu sounded the best. Her lips were soft as she pressed them to his, her body molding into his accommodating his growing manhood.

The warm water surrounded them in a cocoon of steam as they kissed and moved in rhythm together. Their bodies slick with water as they slid together.

Pressing his hands against her shoulders, he looked down at his hard on and said with a smile, "It appears your appetizer is ready."

Angelica stilled against him, her hand smoothing across his back as she stared into his eyes, warm like mocha with a touch of honey. “Indeed,” she murmured, pressing a soft kiss to his chest before she dropped to her knees before him, his hands on her shoulders guiding her.

Licking her lips, Angie wrapped the softness of them around the hard firm contours of Cort’s engorged member. She could feel him swell even further, filling her mouth as she sunk him deeper … deeper. Violet eyes looked up at him as she revelled in the expression of absolute pleasure on his face, water spiralling down his body, steam from the heated water permeating through the room.

Retreating, she slipped her lips to the very tip of him only to start the journey afresh, this time swirling her tongue around the tip of him before plunging him down her throat as far as she could.

Gagging slightly, Angie retreated again to the tip, repeating the process. Cupping his balls in her hand, she gently rolled them between her fingers. Settling into a rhythm, she plunged him as deep down her throat as she could before slowly coming back to the tip, her tongue running along and flicking across the sensitive vein beneath … over … and over.

The groans coming from Cort were music to her ears.
