OK people, I'm starting this thread to show this Get Together is serious.

Definate place - Newcastle upon Tyne.

I'm open to suggestions for everything else - from entertainment to dates.

I'll add names as I get PM's/messages on other boards saying people interested.

my sentiments exactly, how about we hold it in birmingham? proper central and loads of places to go out

If I had money and a job, I'd quite happily hold it anywhere. Anyway, I'm the only one whos made an effort to start the ball rolling!!

If we all had the cash it would be fine to go anywhere but we can't all afford to go south either,

If it was possible sure it would be great to get everyone in a place together in the Midllends or someplace like that, but some of us can't and I commend MSN for trying to arrange this!!!

You have my full support MSN to try to get this to work
 
A pub somewhere in the midlands, say birmingham-coventry that sort of region.. half way along the M1... Should then be a pain in the ass for -everyone- to get there, heh heh. But it can happen in a pub can't it, no reason to hire a place out. It's giong to be a hundred bloke and two women anyway so I would imagine it's either going to be the biggest gangbang ever or most of us will just end up chatting and having a drink. :)
 
I've expressed my interest in the meet on the basis that I'm going to meet people I've grown to know and like online and have a drink with them. No more, no less. On that basis, a pub will do fine.

As regards location, there is nowhere that will please everyone. Birmingham has been mentioned as a good central venue. Ok, good for England maybe, but not if you're in Scotland.

No one is saying that the meet will please everyone; perhaps you can't make the location or the date. That's unfortunate, but the point is that no location or date will please everyone. It's an attempt at an initial get together.

If you can't make it (and as no date has been set, I don't yet know that I can), there's no reason there can't be a next time.
 
I wouldn't mind coming along to the get together, but I have severe limitations! The main one being that I have very little time off work, and the other two being that I have little money and have to rely on public transport! To get to Newcastle, i'd likley have to hhead to London first.....
